I myself am also trying to find work in the music industry (I'm also a fellow Ableton user-student! Currently have 3 tracks in progress but focusing on one to finish ATM) so I'm not sure how much help I will be, but I have gotten some knowledge from job hunting obsessively as well as from my mentor ... |

Up ahead: pointless rambling about my sensory experiences with smell and what Christmas death would smell like. My mother loves scented plug-ins, room sprays, etc. and she likes to change scents to match the seasons. I normally don't have a problem with this as we have similar tastes in what we find... |

Spanish is my native language (born and lived in Argentina until I was 8 ). I've lived here long enough that I speak English fluently and without an accent. I also still speak Spanish fluently since I'm always talking in it with my mom, plus reading and writing to keep myself from forgetting it. I t... |

I understand your thoughts, where your feelings are coming from and how it could be seen as being hurtful. I personally see it in a different light (I have a fantasy-prone personality lol!) so I constantly compare myself to things like aliens, mutants, and androids in a positive light, that and I'm ... |

I second the thought of adding a Men's Forum. Also I hope this doesn't come off as rude (this is just a straightforward observation I've made being new around here and scouring all the threads) but the Love and Dating forum kinda looks like a Men's Forum already? Maybe giving the dudes their own spa... |

Also wanted to give thanks for this thread and forum in general-I don't exactly remember in which post I found her name, but someone had recommended looking into Tania A. Marshall. On her website there is a list of recommended providers who are familiar with female ASD/AS, and I ended up finding one... |

There's so much information in this thread that I am bumping it for those members who have joined since the last post/are looking for these resource listings. .. Also here are a few more AS books that may be of interest: Not Even Wrong (ISBN 1-58234-367-5) is an autobiographical account by Paul Col... |

-pinches bridge of nose- Reading through this putrid cesspool of a thread makes me so damn happy I turned out to be a lesbian, even if the dating pool around my area is crap and lacking in fellow lezzie aspies/auties. I thought I was salty and butthurt about not finding girls to date in middle schoo... |

I'm female and definitely have tokophobia. When I was around 10, I got my first sex-ed lesson in school; one of the strange childhood beliefs I had was that having a baby was something that was inevitable, so when I found out it was optional I was so, SO immensely relieved. For me, there are a lot o... |

Hi y'all, new here. I've lurked on this site for a while (since I started suspecting I was on the spectrum) and finally decided to make an account. I'm in a very low point in life right now, and figured I should start to try and reach out to people who will understand my experiences and what I'm goi... |
