I've watched the first two episodes and I'm enjoying it so far. I think I know what's going to happen but mostly because I'm already aware of David's place in the X-Men continuity. I also think it's a good idea for him to have his own series as incorporating him in to the movies effectively would be...

Usually, if you're not doing anything wrong, you won't get the attention of law enforcement. A large number of people I know have had negative interactions with the police that have been instigated as acts of aggression. Some of my 'favourites': -My father was beaten by police on several occasions ...

I really didn't like it. I haven't had any success with SSRI's (sertraline, citalopram, etc) and a doc prescribed me amitriptyline and found it very heavy going so did not continue with it. I was tried on mirtazipine for a while after that which I found to be very sedating. Personally, I didn't get ...

Being 20 and liking shoegaze kind of sucks lol. I haven't met anyone my age who likes it, let alone knows what it is.

There is a pretty huge resurgence of shoegaze at the moment, lots of newer bands are co-opting the original sound and incorporating other musical textures in to it.

I was into punk in the late 70s, metal in the 80s, worked in music shops in the 90s, ran a punk/hardcore distro in the early 00s. Nowadays, I like mostly instrumental music, so drone, post-rock, post-metal, experimental noise, jazz, classical are my thing. If I do listen to music with vocals it's m...

In all my living memory of seeing people point at things, I have never seen anyone use their middle finger.

I'd say the UK's tolerance of swear/curse words is much great than in the states.

That's very wise- I will be doing the same I think. It just seems to get everywhere, like going to a bonfire and when you get home you realise everything still smells of smoke

I'm getting in to posting here and feeling a really nice sense of community but the pervasive attitudes towards romantic and platonic relationships with women from a vocal group of male posters is utterly disgusting and it's hard to see this forum having lasting appeal for me if this continues.

I'd look at trying to balance the factors and negotiate between the twins- if one of them had a hobby like playing the drums, then the extra space would be required for example.

Yes, unless you credit your sources adequately with thorough referencing and have an element of synthesis in your writing (using those sources to supplement your own point and create an original piece of work rather than rewording their work). If you are in fact taking previous pieces of work from y...

You sure do have some very odd views on women, for a pagan.

Also functional marriages and acceptance of status quo =/= happy marriages. The inference is flawed from the outset.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if the result is not an autistic disorder (with a good level of detail/information and someone who is competant, as I'm sure your assessor will be), that's not a waste of time or a loss of hope. It is a new thing that can be discounted. It's still very useful di...

I'm in a band that has numerous challenges separate from my ASD, we're spread out around the country (and France) so we don't practice often at all as a group. We do make a special effort to get together for blocks of time to complete writing or around playing shows/touring so that we're not complet...
