| The cure for that is to shut down the left hemisphere of the brain and open up your right hemisphere with use of imagination. Play out a story in your head or something that entertains you and eventually it will stop over time. This helps me get to sleep alot. That's what I do, but until your post ... |

| I dont know if this qualifies as a tic or not but there are times whenever I try to calm down or forget a bad memory that I say random things aloud without realizing it. I think this is whenever I am stressed but it happens RANDOMLY and the words never make sense. |

| Is it an aspie thing when a person cannot control what memories leak in and out of their own mind? Just like any other of my senses my memories tend to jumble together and i sometimes cannot filter them out in my head. I tend to go into a meltdown mode and I have to concentrate on a song or vocalize... |

| I think it is real enough to be more than just a label. All my life I was stuck in between two realms, because I was neither low functioning or NT. So I was not accepted by special ed groups because I didnt act "special" enough, and I was not accepted among "normal" people, because I was not "normal... |
