It may not even be Autism. You just explain the difficulties you've been having to your GP and they will refer you to somebody who can assess you and diagnose you. I'm not even sure if I have autism or something else, I didn't look into it too much, but I have been a shut-in for 10 years. I am almost 24 now. I have not gone to high school and I barely went to middle school. I leave my house a few times per year, usually like Christmas and maybe a birthday here...
