I know exactly how you feel. my roommate/friend is usually able to hook up or get a girl very easily, and he's a shy person at times himself but still a bit braver than I am. I on the other hand haven't had that luck, not lately atleast. I know it sucks, believe me but you will find someone one day....

I usually work on Saturday's but if I didn't, I'd most likely be home hanging with my roommate's watching movies or working on one of my own hobbies. maybe even see a movie or have a friend over but I usually enjoy my weekends just staying in.

I'll let you in on something: there's no such thing as being "doomed for life". Love is an unpredictable little bugger. I had the pleasure of finding that out last summer when I fell in love without even expecting to. My suggestion to you would be to try and get yourself out there - do so...

There are plenty of cases where I've seen bigger girls with dates or with boyfriends and gf. Some guys like thick woman. I know I do...society makes it seem like its a bad thing so most men won't outright say it...atleast not in public.

You're not hopeless, my friend. Perhaps you were used by this girl. But there will be others. Just don't fall into the trap of being cynical. One you adopt the cynical ideology, you are "doomed." I've not gone that far. I couldn't be cynical...it'd kill me but I don't want to go down this...
