It really does. I've been on 3 gap years, only fully completing one semester of university so far (with flying colours somehow). Which reminds me, does anyone else find that their special interests can be intense but last a short time as well? This has been the most annoying part of being aspie for ... |

Just had to say , I like your name. It could potentialy lead to a funny thread linking Aspergers & your country e.g. Britspergers , Ruspergers , Thaispergers , then again maybe not  Edit: Do you ever say anything out loud or type it then realise how stoopid you sound. Ahahaha. Thank you f... |

From what you've posted it does hit home a little bit of the sorts of things that I may have said in the past (lacking an empathetic response, no filter). The maths issues however I wouldn't pin down to autism, personally I was very good at maths, and many neurotypicals can be bad at maths. I only f... |

Interesting topic. I've often felt like I'm on the 'outside' of things especially in groups socially, and some people are very quick to discriminate when you show any signs of being different. I've also often felt like I am unlucky and that bad things seem to happen to me more than to other people, ... |

I consider Aspergers to be a part of the autism spectrum. That is, Asperger's syndrome is a milder form of full blown autism, but both are classified under the same diagnosis just at a different severity. That being said, it may be more specific to consider one's symptoms as being part of Asperger's... |

Always nice to meet another Aussie. Most of my driving is suburban but I love drives through the hills. Suburban driving is still peaceful enough to relax me but driving in the CBD does not relax me. I prefer to use public transport in the CBD. Do you live out in the country? Yet another aussie her... |

I'd like to say a quick hello to anyone who can be bothered to check through all these introductions. As you can see by my username, I'm Australian. I used to use many forums in the past related to my special interests, but honestly I've withdrawn a lot from them as I've grown into a young adu... |
