She was also told he didn't need services by one of the government agencies . The good caregivers she has she loves and they are very dedicated. Unfortunate... |

I work with Special Needs children and with my own NT children as well as them...violence is not accepted....end of story. Your parents need to intervene more here. Even if you both are adults swearing,yelling,violence...stops or there's the door. Your brothers intolerance obviously has been ignored... |

There is a very good support group in Escondido, run by Lisa Savy and her daughter Wendy. Wendy has Aspergers Syndrome. It's for young adults. If you type in Aspergers Support Group in Escondido you will find it. I did, I was looking because I have two friends who would benifit from it. If Escondido... |

Have you contacted your local autism chapter? (I totally get your homeschooling) They may be able to direct you. Also type in Autism Support Group in your area. You'll be suprized at how many are out there. I know someone who started a Aspie Support Group in Escondido CA. and it has grown quickly. |

My friends ears where so sensitive he was given musicians ear plugs so that he could stand to be in a room when people were eating. Helped him a lot...unfortunately he lost his ear plugs, but they did retrain his hearing so it wasn't a big deal. He can handle it better now.. |

She had accesses to help and programs that most parents would never have because they don't have her money. How sad, she didn't give her son a chance because he didn't improve fast enough to suit her. |

Abstain, she's a Christian she's suppose to anyways. You shouldn't feel you have to have sex because of it being a "Social Norm." Thats why we have unplanned pregnancies and out of control epidemic of STDs. And I've noticed an upward trend though in promoting abstaining regardless of a person religi... |

It's a liability issue that you did bring on yourself. Keep busy the 6 weeks will go by quickly. If the pass behavior is beneath you then prove that it is. You'll be ok. |

My daughter is beautiful and never had a problem getting a boyfriend. She never understood women who would say..."He's to nice for me." She told me, "those kinds of girls get what they deserve".Then she said, "I'm going to find the nicest guy in the world and marry him." And you know what???? she did. |

You've asked, and thats all you can do. If you do harass it will only get worse. I know it's hard, but you have no choice, let them go and move on...in the mean time...you have everyone here who will understand you better and be more tolerant and if they wanna blow you off, you know why because they... |

I know someone who is in prison for murder, he will never get out...he is NT not autistic. He's had two different roommates who murdered their moms, one was sentenced to a hospital, he has a history of "Cluster" headaches so severe that he blacks out and becomes violent. The other roommate used that... |
