Being gay myself, I find there is a lot of "group think" in the community. There is a lot of "playing the victim" about everything. Personally, I think they have a bad PR problem. Now, there are always going to be haters and religious nutcases, you will never totally get rid of t...

The one I hate is, people who wait till no one else is around to start stuff. At work, There was this guy I worked with for a time, real cocky type. He would wait till no one was around and start talking to me in a condescending voice, just rude and nasty. The thing was, he would say nothing to me w...

Are you more quiet or outgoing? I have sort of been on both sides of the fence. At one job I hardly said a word and of course everyone seemed to hate me for it. On the other, for a time I was outgoing at my current job but the Asperger's kind of ruined things with some people so I was almost back to...

As of late I have been going through a lot of issues with over coming things from the past. I am not officially diagnosed but there's no question I have Asperger's. Prior to this and not realizing some of my odd behaviors, I cringe at things I said and did. Luckly I never see any people I used to go...

One thing I have leaned in the workplace is not to discuss religion or politics. It can get you in big trouble and is a way to make enemy's. During the 2012 election I wish I had kept my mouth shut. No, I don't think you were rude to her. she sounds pushy. I myself detest organized religion of any k...

I haven't made any attempts at dating or really getting involved, I usually just end up being ignored or treated weird. The whole drinking and drugs thing no thanks.

Thanks everyone. I've never been to KS but I imagine its similar to ohio culture wise. The Midwest isn't exactly the most open minded place, its really all I know as I've never lived anywhere else. Honestly, I have done too much traveling either other then going down south and to northern MI. I don'...

I am gay and like everything else in my life I don't fit here either. Having Asperger's syndrome meeting people is difficult enough. In general I don't associate with the gay community. Way too much group think, a lot of airheads, and if you don't do it there way then your not "in the club"...

I am have Asperger's syndrome but am undiagnosed, growing up I had the ADD label slapped on me but I always knew that wasn't right. No one really knew what to ma...
