http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/09/20/bush.newser/index.html He intends to veto a bill that would provide healthcare to 4 million more children under the State Children Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). It would expand the program to cover 4 million more children above the current 6 million who are...

Gay marriage should be legalised everywhere. Why should people of every nation be forced to accept something that they don't necessarily want to? Because they're not being forced to accept anything. I don't have to like every single marriage that takes place in the UK, but I legally have to stay th...

But some of them love the sinner, but hate the sin. If the sin is a part of ones being - just like say... skin color - it's the same thing as hating the sinner. So basically anyone who says "Hate the sin, love the sinner" is still saying, "I hate gays." The sin is sex with their own sex, not actual...

I consider myself to be a pantheist of late, which is basically the belief that God is All.

I also believe that God is finite, as infinite does not exist, as there is eventually a limit. The Universe does not have infinite mass, despite its vast size.

Hmm. Since marriage is traditionally between a man and a woman, and it craps on religious beliefs not to have it that way, same-sex "marriage" should be technically referred to as a partnership or civil union. People can call it whatever they like outside the law. As long as the civil union grants ...

Iowa is like a second home to me, while I only stay there for a few weeks per year to visit various members of my family - brothers, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, etc... A county judge has declared the hateful "Defense of Marriage" law enacted in 1998 to be unconstitutional, for obvious reas...

I believe in the existence of a deity far beyond our capabilities of understanding. Nothing seems to come close to a good description of God. The closest seems to be those that describe God as permeating everything in existance, while the farthest is the Bible which describes God as a jealous old ma...

There are crimes -violent even- that are caused by other means... Serial killers are mentally deranged, as are serial rapists... Many bank robbers and thieves are motivated by some form of drug addiction, or kleptomania. It could be argued that a lot of the gang violence we hear about in the cities ...

A hate crime is a violent crime directed towards an individual because of their race, sexual orientation, religion, gender, disability, age, etc... http://snopes.com/politics/sexuality/hatecrime.asp And as that article shows, there are hate groups out there fighting legislation that would put sexual...

Hey that's cool...

Christians should be welcoming of all people regardless of their skin color, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability or any other thing that they were born with.

This article demonstrates one of the most hateful and sick things I have ever seen a "church" do.

I have made my decision on my viewpoints on gay marriage based on what is morally right. It is immoral to lie about a group of people - say that they are only out to get special rights, and that gay marriage will somehow cause societal collapse, and that gays are more likely to be pedophiles, and th...

Fifty pages... And no one has presented any logical reason why gay marriage should be banned. No one has presented any logical reason why gay rights should be limited. The closest is Ragtime's religious arguments, but in countries where religion does not dictate the law (The United States for exampl...
