I want to move to Florida, too, at least for winter. I am having wheezing and asthma flareups here. I was having similar questions about benefits I currently receive. I should reapply for disability.

I can relate although I haven't had a job in many years. Part of it could be you don't want to be seen as a slacker in public. At home, nobody is holding you accountable. You might also have energy or attention deficit issues.

I am about 5'2 and I do have a height preference in men. The range I Iike is from 5'7 to 6'. A guy who is about 6' and up seems too tall for me. Conversely, a guy less than 5'6 seems too short for me. I would be more willing to deal with a tall guy than a really short one though. I don't want to hav...

Does anyone else feel like they have to deal with depression the rest of their lives because of their neurobiological conditions? I feel like this is something that will not go away, maybe temporarily but not permanently. To make matters worse, the one thing that made me feel not depressed for days ...

I have socialized with people much older than I was in the past. More recently, I socialized with people younger than I am or closer to me in age and the experiences weren't as fulfilling. As for dating, whenever guys past 50 start contacting me, I get creeped out. I wouldn't want someone more than ...

I also find guys with women taller than they are annoying. I think it's only natural for females to want guys who are several inches taller than they are just like it is natural for guys to want females who are shorter than they are. Of course, there are many guys who are above average height or tal...

Last summer, I was offended when one of my female acquaintances suggested a guy for me and when I asked her how tall he was, she said that he was about my height. Then I told her that I didn't like short guys. But she responded by saying that I wasn't tall, either. I know but I am about 5'3 with sne...

5'7 doesn't seem short for a guy to me. Of course, I am under 5'4! Coincidentally, 5'7 is the minimum height I put down for a match on dating/marriage sites. I would rather have a guy who is too tall for me than a guy who is too short for me! So nobody under 5'7 or so. Otherwise, it feels weird to m...

What should I do in terms of getting a diagnosis? I don't like doctors much. Was anyone able to get disability after getting a diagnosis? I am thinking an official diagnosis might help. I need an income so I can get away from my annoying, autistic smother! I can't imagine going back to work and I am...

I almost wish I could post pics but that was so 2006/10+ years ago. Maybe if I were younger... I actually posted in a similar thread on another discussion forum in 2006 just for a confidence boost. At least some people responded by saying that they thought I looked beautiful. That forum was also ful...

Everyone wants their partner to be attractive. What a lot of people don't realize is that sometimes attraction develops over time, instead of occurring instantly. Our views aren't set in stone. This might be true for some people but I know I can only feel attracted to certain types of guys in terms...

Good point but people act like I am being picky. Just because I only feel attracted to a few types of good-looking and intelligent guys. That definitely makes it harder to find someone for a romantic relationship. However, I wouldn't change whom I feel attracted to and whom I don't feel attracted to...

Are you super picky when it comes to picking a romantic partner? I wonder if that's why some of us still are single? One of the most important things at first for me is physical/ aesthetical attraction. I can't have anything romantic, much less physical, with someone without it. Some people don't ge...
