The only thing worrying me about technology is the power Google and Facebook may have over our lives. Fortunately, it seems like companies where you are "the product being sold" (rather than the customer) are a bubble. Just came across this video from google thats supposed to be an intern... |

I once jumped over a gutter as a kid in a sort of mario-eqse way without realising a seagull flying low just above my head and i actually headbutted the bird and i heard it sqwark and it was like i just scored a coin. One of my favorite moments in life thus far. |

This thread is such a relief, i fricken hate having to use urinals, wee time is me time damn it!
I used to make myself feel so awful for not being able to deal with urinals. What a stupid social construct. |

I was big on the Pachycephalosaurus as a kid. The whole head butting battle thing was mega badass. |

Theres a pretty good doco i've seen discussing what your talking about, though i warn it can come off as quite pessimistic. I think personally we are on the verge of a human revolution of sorts, as the monolithic industries and governments that are protecting their control at all costs are running o... |

I remember the first time I read a list of female traits I thought someone was following me around and writing down all of my disparate quirks. I couldn’t believe they were all related and that there was a group of people out there experiencing life like I do. Yes thats exactly the moment, my wife ... |

Id consider my self audiophilic only in the sense of a deep appreciation of temporal and tiberal nuance. Whether i can pick sound apart to a definition of clarity that audiofiles commonly adhere to, like recognising what frequency a certain sound registers at for instance, i just don't have the tech... |

Any one consider that our experience of time in a 3d material plane is a projection of a higher dimensional space? As if to say, time is an expression of space and space is an expression of time. Take for instance what we know so far about quantum physics, that the unobserved atom is a cloud of pote... |

The current trend of AI development as an absolute mind in a society that has not evolved past central dependency of resources and labor is pure dystopia. AI however is not defined by this approach, and it is crucial that the development of AI remains attainable by independent researchers. AI struct... |

I've wondered this myself, as i find i can't engage the same value or attachment to things in the same way my wife does. For example, she would value buying new cloths or a phone case off ebay as some kind of self maintenance/emotional reward, where as i don't acquire things in the same way or perta... |

I have a lot of respect for many substances i've interacted with in my time but i have to say my stand out psychoactive has to be MDMA. My first experience with it was trans-formative and every experience since has opened up new layers of my otherwise reserved personality. I'm really interested in M... |

Hello! I've been floating and sparsely posting here without properly introducing myself, and thus will take the opportunity now! I'm 32, live in Adelaide, Australia, and was diagnosed last year with ASD, or Asperger's had the diagnosis been 5 or so years earlier. It's been a huge life changing event... |
