How 'bout "I like you a lot and would like to go on a date with you"? Again, beauty is very subjective, and (for me at least) heavily influenced by my opinion of a person. Some girls I knew I thought were nothing special when I met them but came to find them quite attractive after getting ... |

I dunno how it is where you live, but around my parts, if someone poses an immediate physical threat to you, you're allowed to respond with proportional force. The key word here is proportional. Learn some arm locks, and even if you don't, don't you stand for that s**t! Call for help, hell, call the... |

I know it's not the same, but you could start with some online lectures and whatnot. Some pretty famous universities post all their course contents online. Here's a whole list of them: http://www.thebestcolleges.org/free-online-classes-and-course-lectures/ most of that stuff is free, they'll recomme... |

It's a skill, and like all skills it can be learned. It comes more naturally to NTs, but with time and effort you can do it too. My own non-verbal has improved significantly through my work and has allowed me to have a fulfilling career. I'm still failing at relationships mind you, but it's a work i... |

If you've been together for a bit he may just be settling in a comfort zone and no longer feels like he has to put the same efforts as before to keep your interest. It's not a bad thing, I understand that's just how relationship works (don't take my word for it tho, it's just hearsay :P ). If he's n... |

Have her read this thread. We typically suck at spontaneous verbal communication but I think you explained your problem wonderfully here. Print it out or something and say "this is how I feel, help me out please!". |

Being depressed about being lonely is a self-perpetuating cycle that can only end when you choose to do something about it. These forums are filled with great (and some not so great ;) ) tips on getting out of that cycle, I'd recommend you keep poking around on here and figure for yourself what's th... |

Shygirl7 has some really funny conceptions of female psychology, good on you that you're not listening. She's probably filtering her opinions through some really negative personal experiences that she lived or witnessed. Same goes for the incel crowd, those guys have some really toxic ideas and shou... |

If he's really on the spectrum too then subtleties will get you nowhere and possibly leave him confused and angry. Take the dive, even if it doesn't go your way you'll be better in a few weeks and be ready to move on to something/someone else. If you don't (this might just be me mind you) it's going... |

When I'm interested in a girl, I show it by becoming absolutely terrified of her :P Modern society has made it really difficult to express interest, sexual or otherwise, because on the one hand it seems everyone assumes it's all about sex (as far as I'm concerned it's entirely secondary to emotional... |

Just thought I'd put in my 2 cents on the whole "biology" thing: Yes, it's all about biology, but no, it's not as simple as some of you seem to think. Biology is heavily influenced by environment (see gene expression for a solid example). Advertisement and marketing are huge influences on... |

The thing with the idea of doing stuff for me rather than other people is that I don't feel the need to. Does it matter that on my day off work today I slept till 1pm and then just sat messing about on my laptop? Maybe I'd feel better if I left the house and did something, but do I really need to? ... |

Unfortunately, I have no degree in engineering Neither do I, but you'll find the IT sector is quite forgiving. You just need the skills, not the degree. Also worth noting there's tons of non-engineering jobs in those departments. I work very closely with people in communications and marketing for i... |

C2V, this girl was perfect for me, just absolutely perfect. Matching interests, similar personalities, I even suspect she's one of us. But I waited too long and failed to capitalize on those things I knew. At one point she started talking about history (an interest of mine) and said she loved it and... |
