Yep, I have ADHD as well! Didn't get diagnosed until last year, when I was 19 :o I went to my local PCT but I've also been referred to the Maudsley Clinic to get a more official diagnosis. I was on Concerta, which worked like magic for the first 2 days and then nothing happened, even after raising t... |

Haha I know what you mean...I can use them and stuff but they are weird and cringing...I didn't like them when I was younger lol. Someone in my science class at secondary school also said this but she wasn't an Aspie. Although when she said how she hated cotton wool everyone laughed and teased her a... |

Ok there are two things that scare me big time: Fire - like I worry loads about it. If I see it in a film or something I won't sleep that night. Silent Hill wasn't nice, seeing as someone is burnt alive at the end and it's pretty graphic :( my boyfriend didn't tell me about that...but then he doesn'... |

Hey! Haven't posted here in a while! Well, I used to feel the same as you did, I know how you feel. I had loads of crushes but every one of them...I never got with. My mum would say someone will come along one day, and I was starting to give up hope. One day I went to Thorpe Park with some work frie... |

Hehe I just typed in my name and my boyfriend's name, 81%! It said we have a good chance but the relationship would still need work like talking to each other etc - which is funny, cos, well, at the moment we are just mates really, he doesn't have all the feelings as he had before and he said one th... |

I know how it feels as I am in pretty much the same situation. Except that for the time being we are only seeing each other as mates, as the other day he told me that for the past few weeks he hasn't had all the feeling he had for me before :(. But we will still see each other, like I said only as m... |

Aaah I'm so glad that I found this thread! I absolutely love rollercoasters and rides, and theme parks is one of my obsessions! It has been for years. I work at Thorpe Park, and I absolutely love it! I can't wait until next year, when I am 18, I'll be able to operate the rides then, and not just be ... |

Yup! I have an older brother who is 20. He finished his second year at Goldsmiths University, London, and he is doing English there. He is back at home now, taking control as always! We get on quite well most of the time, have the same silly sense of humour, although sometimes, he says I go too far,... |

I have big problems with homework. Especially over the past few years, since secondary school I would say. Probably because of the increased amount of it and the detail and effort required. I mean, it's an essay you have to write, or a research project, not remembering facts and dates, I could do th... |

I have severe motivation problems! I cannot bring myself to do homework, chores, get out of bed... Some people with ADD have problems with motivation, as opposed to stereotypical ADHD people who are "always on the go". And I have all the traits ofADD andam currently waiting for a DX. i think that, a... |

One of my so-called "best friends" has just really pissed me off and upset me. Last week they said did I want to go to his house with some others, have a drink, etc. I said yes and that I was definitely free. I didn't hear anything more from him and thought that maybe it was cancelled. I didn't ask ... |

I usually wear clothes that reflect me, and that I feel comfortable in. Combats, jeans, or occasionally, tracksuit bottoms (three-quarter lengths in the summer) T-shirts and hooded tops/tops, or long-sleeved tops (also vest tops in the summer) Trainers 99% of the time, the are basically the only sho... |

I've finished my first year at my sixth form college (which is just a sixth form college, as my secondary school didn't have a sixth form college as well, just years 7 - 11). So when I return in September, I'll be in my second year, already! Aaah! |
