There is a time and place for different types of humour. They probably didn't mean anything by it, if she knew you are autistic, she probably just wanted to remind you that it is offensive to do so towards someone elses property, i do not think the remark has anything to do with your relationship w... |

My grandpa was telling me to make a portable heater warmer by turning the top knob and I insisted on turning the bottom knob because it looked like that would be the appropriate knob. Anyone ever do something like this? |

I was stopped at a stop light and there was a guy in a car next to me trying to tell me something and I could not figure it out no matter how hard I tried (I looked like a p**** to top it all off). He seemed to be making some kind of reference to the red bull I was drinking. I dunno it made me feel ... |

I was driving with a couple of friends looking for parking and I said "im just gonna park in someone's driveway." I guess I was just trying to be funny and my friends laughed at the joke but said "That's offensive." Do you guys think what I said was quirky aspie humor? |

Does anybody feel like they are a neurotypical trapped in an aspie body? Any sense of self problems? The opposite I guess although I am not sure what an aspie body is. After I was diagnosed at age 55 I realized I had I had lived my life not knowing key things about myself. I was confused about what... |

The question is totally nonsensical even on a metaphoric fantasy level because both aspergers, and non-aspergers, are mental to begin with. So it cant be imagined that way since its a brain type vs a brain type. Not brain type vs a body type. I can imagine being "one gender in another genders ... |

Seriously dude can you relate? You need to give more detail. Like sure you met up with people who went on a cruse. When did they go on this cruse? Was it 10 years ago or was it yesterday. I have a fantastic memory, and I love it. The cruise was at least a month ago and I think the girl's night out ... |

Do you ever surprise people with your memory? I met up with a couple of friends the other day and I asked one of them how he liked the cruise he went on. He seemed surprised I remembered that. I went out with this girl and asked her how her night out with her cousins was. She seemed surprised I reme... |

In high school a couple of my friends got me to talk to this hot chick and I told her that I smelled bad and had poor hygiene. It just came out I dunno why and it felt awkward saying it. In response she said laughingly "you shouldn't tell me that." She eventually went on to tell my friends... |

I want to be a loner for the rest of my life. I'd rather be by myself than be awkward in social situations. All I'm capable of is intellectual conversations and off beat humor and I don't wanna do that. My desire is to joke around with neurotypical guys and flirt with neurotypical girls. I was never... |

I feel like I don't come across the way I want to come across and it's because of my aspergers. I'm now avoiding any opportunity to be in a social situation because of this. I hate having aspergers. It makes me miserable because I cannot be the person I want to be |
