Did you make up stories or explanations as to why you felt out of place/did things differently as a kid? I know that most of you are familiar with the feeling that you were born on a different planet, hence the logo of WP. Any of you have similar feelings of being nonhuman or "rare?" For ...

I'm so glad I found this forum and this thread! I know that I'm pretty much a lesbian. Bisexual Homoromantic to be exact. I strongly suspect that I am also on the spectrum. All I know is that I feel pretty isolated right now, different from others and unable to reach out and connect. It's really nic...

Well, I tried to solve the problem by writing a sci-fi where my characters are part robot! I hoped that could excuse any of the awkwardness in social interaction. I was also thinking that in the future people could have different social norms and ways of acting, so it's a sort of create your own ph...

Those personality tests can be nonsense. Was it a Myers-Briggs test? Sometimes, you can look up how to pass one of those tests. If you research which organizations are looking for which personality type, you can skew your results so that you get that type. It may feel like cheating, but actually, th...

I'm very germophobic. I hate sinks that you have to turn off in the public restroom when the public restroom doesn't supply paper towels. I hate how I've noticed most people take like 2 seconds to wash their hands when you're supposed to take like 20 seconds and use warm water which kills germs. I t...

When I overhear two people talk, or watch a TV show, it's generally easy for me to interpret what is going on. It's like a cause and effect thing. You see one thing happen and then the next thing happens. But if someone is talking to ME, then sometimes I'm not sure how I'm supposed to react, in cert...

All my friends say I would be in Ravenclaw. I think if I actually went to Hogwarts, I would like this house because I think with my personality it would be easiest to make friends in Ravenclaw. Or perhaps Hufflepuff, but I don't have high Hufflepuff traits. My strongest traits are actually probably ...

I accidentally was an as*hole to multiple people. It was completely unintentional. I also missed a turn my GPS said to take. Stupid roundabouts. I could have sworn I was taking the second exit but the app counted it differently than me. That cost me a half an hour of time, and I was a little worried...

For me both were confusing and hard to accept. I still don't know if I have autism or not, but I strongly suspect that I may be on the spectrum. I'm not quite sure what my sexuality is. I think it's mostly lesbian. I accepted that I wasn't straight after the anxiety caused by my attraction to women ...

I don't know if I miss her, but I've been thinking about her. I don't know if "miss" is the right word for the emotions I feel. When I look at her picture dread fills me. But when I think about her...I feel love. I'm not sure if she ever loved me or just made me imagine that she did. I wis...

This morning I went into the bathroom to wash my hands (I'm really freaked out about germs) and after I finished I turned the light off and left. Then I hear a voice from the bathroom saying "why'd you have to turn the light out?" (the bathroom has a stall that separates the sink from the ...
