Thank you for all your comments, I'm going to take all the advice.

I'll start by contacting the local NAS to see what advice they can give. I should then have a follow up appointment with my GP early in May and can raise the possibility of alternatives such as the Lorna Wing Centre.

Quick question about delays in getting a diagnosis in the UK. I live in Croydon, just to the south of London. I originally spoke to my GP on 6th November 2017 about getting a formal diagnosis and she agreed to refer me on. We quickly got a letter back from The Maudsley stating that I had to have ind...

Croydon is a gigantic shopping area. How do you manage to live there? I know what you mean. I wouldn't be able to handle what you've handled. I actually live towards the outer edge of Croydon in Waddon where it's more residential but only 10 - 15 minutes bus ride to work in central Croydon. At the ...

Had a couple of hours quiet in bed when I got home but still developed a migraine that evening. Good job I keep a stock of Sum...

I really hate these team meetings where there's team bonding activities and unfortunately today we had a larger cross team meeting with about 30-40 people in the room and two such activities, one at the start and one at the end. I knew it was probably a mistake from the outset as the noise during th...

I love teddy bears. It is reassuring to know that some people do actually collect teddy bears, so it's not really childish to love teddy bears, but the way I love them is similar to a 5-year-old. I try to make sure all the teddies in my room are sitting or laying 'comfortably', so that they can 'sl...
