Not a bad idea but old consoles are expensive and are probably faulty due to age

I'm looking for a way to play my classic games from the past (not emulating on a pc) or dirty rom sites they are out. but emulation that is legal of course I will have to pay

I find it a pain in the ass configuring gamepads Id rather play on real hardware or emulate it on the Wii or Wii u virtual console and besides the emulation quality should be more accurate on the vc anyway rather than homevrew emulators on a PC
