Because it doesn't really matter what YOU think was the common denominator in all of them... what matters is what THEY tho...

Anyone ever notice how the people interviewing you will be anything but direct? You are still trying to interact with people because you want to. As for the reason why you want to it is probably because you are lonely. I could be wrong with my assumption though.
