For some wierd reason people seem to think I am at least 25, I've had guesses up to 30 or so. Why I don't know, maybe it's because people spread rumours that I am a great scientist (are they true? I hope so), and automatically assume I'm at least a masters student, others say pHd. Heck, someone fro...

I'd like to get back into playing piano. I have a nice electric piano, but it's still at my dad's house.

Adults don't really have 'milestones' especially aspie adults. I was going to respond pretty much the same thing. Before I was diagnosed with autism at the age of 32, I worried that I hadn't accomplished as much with my life as other people my age. But now I realize I can go at my own pace, and I d...

The need to be talking on their phones all the time- even when they are minutes away from meeting the person they are talking to. I don't understand this either. Especially when I'm on a long bus ride and someone talks on the phone for the whole trip, or the fact that my roommate talks on the phone...

I enjoy playing the alto clarinet so much that I made it my username.

I play a bit of ukulele, tin whistle, and percussion as well.

I get into this with my NT roommate all the time. I won't know or remember how to do something, like which cloth to use to wash a certain dish, and I feel like if I try to decide which cloth to use, my roommate will admonish me for doing it wrong. Or I want to avoid using the wrong cloth, so I'll ga...

I'm not too positive, but I'm more positive than I used to be. Last year I discovered that the anxiety and depression I've always seem to have had came from trying to deal with the world as an autistic (I was only diagnosed last year.) Sine then I've become more accepting of who I am. And even thoug...

My roommate has been BLASTING music at an unimaginable volume all afternoon in the kitchen. I can hear it clearly in my own room (at least, until I put ear defenders on.) Why do some neurotypicals like really loud noise so much? My roomie and I are both musicians, and I do like listening to music, b...

I think it would be fine. Though I do understand that these things can be more difficult when you find someone attractive.

Saying "interesting" or making it look like everything is "interesting". Not everything has to be :jester: interesting  Yeah. There's an afternoon radio program where I live that I listen to for news and weather, but it annoys me how much the host uses the word "inter...

I've never seen anything wrong with gay marriage. It's marriage between two adults, and it's not about marrying someone who's not an adult.
I've never understood homophobia in general. I don't get why some people think being gay is wrong.

I usually have a lot of patience unless I'm in a big rush.
Or if there's someone in front of me in line at the store taking too long to buy too many lottery tickets.

I don't feel good. I have fallen into a deep depression, I feel absolutely lonely, and my life is going into a direction I cannot properly deal with. The way my wife pulled the plug of our marriage was cruel and insanely selfish considering that I moved to another continent for her. I am filled wit...
