Oh, I have an interest in autism, too. I’d enjoy our friendship.

Does anyone want a friend? I just need one that’s on the spectrum, and will obviously understand more than people at school do. Thanks.

I think it would be useful for officers to know this about me without conversing on the subject. I become very anxious and smile too often around strangers, etc. and would appreciate some awareness instead of “is something wrong with you?” I know officers may not necessarily say it like that, but I’...

My voice is sometimes quite ‘flexible’ in my speech. Bouncy, from high-pitched to natural, to high-pitched again. But, sometimes it’s monotonous with slight raises. I’m never able to control my pitch. Is this an Autism Thing, or just me?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m absolutely terrible at friendships. I’m not “out” to anyone at school about my diagnosis, and no one understands. I tend to hide myself and extrovert myself. I’m so loud and pushy with people I hardly know, it hurts. Only one person at school knows my gentle side; my true-sel...

Generally, I enjoy touch when I'm stressed, from certain people, and when I'm choosing to touch them. Otherwise, physical contact causes extreme anxiety and discomfort. But, I've known one girl for a year, and have always felt warm when we hug. Recently, we've started to hang out more. She really he...

Pizza, pie, baguettes, and everything with crust, my favourite texture.
My grandma's lasagna usually has a thin, crunchy layer of cheese on top of it. I LOVE it!

I can say “I love you” to other members of my family. I have to force it out, and I feel uncomfortable with it in the moment, but it’s true. But I cannot say “I love you” to my mother, who neglected me for years as a young child, and who did hard drugs while breastfeeding (the reason why I’m autisti...

Christopher, of the novel “The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Night-time.” It’s not confirmed, but here are some things to consider.. 1.) He goes to a special needs school, and calls everyone there “stupid.” I don’t agree with his use of words here, but Christopher doesn’t acknowledge his reason...
