Denied an opportunity to demonstrate increasing independence and ability to financially prioritise due to my mother. She means well but she is, bless her, belligerent and set in her ways. I'm exceptionally disappointed but - though I could, and the temptation is extremely strong to do so - I won't g...

Blernsball alongside Quiddich would be cool. 8)
No doubt reality will be much worse: sports might become a strange, archaic notion entertained by eccentrics alone in a burgeoning world of couch potatoes.

Yes, it is a shame that these articles don't do some myth busting with regard to female autism. I don't know how many times health professionals didn't take the idea that my daughter had autism seriously because of her capacity to mask and her social skills or her empathy. The struggle is real. :( ...

Certainly I prefer gardens with a messy aesthetic. Perfect lawns and neatly organised flowerbeds look bland and soulless to me. Winding stone paths and scruffy blackberry bushes are what I like outdoors. Indoors however, I'm hyper-organised and utterly hate mess of any kind, as it has always interfe...

I believe I once encountered a genius stating 'having more sex' cured depression. No, it does not.

I've enjoyed various sports for many years, and have witnessed people much heavier than me possessed of truly enviable fitness and stamina. Weight can obviously be a gauge for physical performance in sports and general health, but it by no means has the final word regarding fitness.

Paranoia can be extremely disruptive on a daily basis. Mine seems very likely linked in with social anxiety, as I can become extremely paranoid/suspicious of strangers in public places, who I feel are talking about me, watching me, mocking me. What I think really is going on with that scenario is th...

Probably seems tame and boring, but currently it would be a particular can of vegan soup I've taken a liking to: split pea or something. My favourite food tends to change depending on the seasons, however.

I've been vegan for over half a year at this stage. Great change, feel better for it. The first few weeks of veganism were ugly, though. For anyone considering the change: the beginning stage does not involve much glamorous frolicking through fields of flowers filled with the light of purity....

I'm self taught. I work mostly with dry media and watercolours. Genre-wise I create photo-realistic portraits by eye. I used to get abuse online from twerps convinced my art was actually some poorly manipulated photograph, so went on to develop a system of sharing works-in-progress alongside all fin...

Decades of living with my narcissist father have taught me that if I happen to hear shouting, regardless of location, it's probably my fault. Comparatively, I'm almost relieved when I hear a loud noise that my brain translates into anything that isn't shouting, not that I like it anyway. I often jum...

I wish my teachers had known common human decency most of the time. Classes of 30 odd students plus the severely bullied kid constantly ostracized because she acts odd and is too quiet? Lets laugh alongside the rest of the children. Ultimately secondary school taught me there is no difference betwee...

I used to smoke, then I stopped, then I started again. :| Currently: yes I smoke, but will probably attempt to quit again, soon. Maybe I need to look at more pictures of diseased lungs or perhaps get nicotine patches.

I had exactly the same problem when I was still with my last ex, which feels like a million years ago now. He and I had a good rapport going, though he was a textbook NT and a supremely popular 'people-person' as well, basically the polar opposite to me but that's what has always attracted me to oth...

Never had much interest in the Olympics, though I personally like sports. I enjoy the concept behind bringing humans from all over the world together through competition, that itself one of the few ways to do just that, it seems. I find it hard watching the human emotions behind Olympics footage tho...

Had an extremely tough and stressful few weeks; found out my dad had been committing child identity theft against me and my brother. Then I messed up on a personal scale and started smoking again, after a few months of having quit. Screw 2018.
