I enjoy this show too and question the writers portrayal of him. I don't know what exactly I am. I show many signs of ASD, but I can read people very well. I just can't react like I should. I tend to pick apart every action and word after an encounter takes place. I have done this all my life by ins... |

Half way through reading I already finished your analogy in my head, but you took a different turn :) A different version considering the road is always a straight line: Driving down an empty country road in a vast convertible would be your relaxed state. It's mid-day and sunny. Each offending sense... |

Ear muffs and music may help; but they won't help his fear. The intensity of the sound coupled with the unknown are the problem. Try explaining airplanes and gravity to him, why the engines are loud, and why you are not scared. He obviously won't understand everything or maybe much at all, but truth... |

The trailer made me sick to my stomach, but I had to watch it (pirated, no money for these scumbags). It's sad people here like this sort of movie. Look it up on YouTube and watch the "favorite scenes". I really hope I'm not alone on this. If the only thing people know about aspergers comes from med... |

If I made an Aspie movie: It would only mention autism/asperger's in a couple sentences at most. It would be a factual collection in the vein of HG Wells The Outline of History. It would be a long boring movie worthy of being forced to watch at school, with heads numbingly propped up with one hand a... |

I'm in Prospect Oregon, perfect place. My daughter stays with me 2 weeks a month and I get a rare visit from family once a month, otherwise I'm alone up here. It's only been 4 months but I've never felt like myself until living out here. There are lots of waterfalls, streams, and lakes that I photog... |

Best movie I've seen in years. It's Korean, and may be special order since Netflix doesn't seem to have it. But I think others here would find it worth seeking out. I found it on this list: http://theofficialnothing.com/10-beautifully-odd-movies That webpage listed a bunch of movies I liked. It remi... |

School fights are one thing and it's part of growing up. Just avoid them, learn from them; whatever. But as an adult I take any physical aggression as a threat on my life and rules no longer apply, no matter what people may say about a kick to the nuts and a punch to the throat. Yay concealed licens... |

Meaningless. All of it man. This clicking, your talking, my ranting. Let's make something out of these factories we call our bodies. Lets eat at that restaurant we peer in to every morning. Let's eat in ragged clothes with clanging utensils. We are done here, getting high and talking in circle jerk ... |

Sci-Fi has always been the outcast. My favorite author Phil K. Dick bought horse meat at the pet supply store to feed himself. Some say it was an act of self pity, but he was genuinely poor. Every year a new movie based on his stories gets made. He died before Bladerunner was released, there were no... |
