Yes, and having both, I would never be confused by the two. It's incredibly difficult to deal with them together though. I know what you mean. I am also diagnosed as both AS and C-PTSD. I was always an Aspie (undiagnosed until I was an adult and parent of 4 young Aspies), but after a severely traum...

What are you doing to help autism? I found a site that actually allows you to raise money for the charity of your choice, without costing you a penny! It works with MySpace, MyYearBook, Facebook, Bebo, and other social sites. All you do is sign up, pick a charity, pick a sponsor, and put that sponso...

Communications 101 (speech) is mandatory for the degree I'm pursuing, in case you're wondering why an aspie would so torment themselves. I think it could actually be highly beneficial. Except, the text keeps underscoring the following idea (paraphrased): "Make sure to look all parts of your audienc...

I tend to "zone out" and not know what is going on around me, when I am in awkward or boring situations. Doc thought it was seizures, at first, but now says it is emotional black outs.

It certainly sounds like you gave yourself a concussion. There are varying degrees of concussion, and the symptoms vary. I only know this, because I have done the same thing to myself and had very similar symptoms. There really isn't a whole lot that can be done for it, but I do recommend seeking me...

I never have that problem. But that's probably because my intelligence is mainly geared toward language. Most aspies, and autistic as well have an area of expertise, and language is mine. Even as an English major, in college, I still had certain projects that I would do this to. I am a news reporte...

Hello there, I can take up to half an hour to write a post. Not a long one but let's say, one with 2 paragraphs. I will write it, rewrite it, correct it a dozen of times, and after submiting it i won't be satisfied. Even ashamed, not because of the content, but because of the gramatic. I can't say ...

It wasn't the same community college I attended when I was 17, it was actually a smaller one. When I was in college when I was 17, I was going to be a ...
