No one has mentioned the obvious response. Low Blood Sugar! If you don't properly maintain your blood sugar level, it can drop rapidly, resulting in the following possibly symptoms ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypoglycemia ): * Abnormal mentation, impaired judgment * Nonspecific dysphoria, anxiety...

my guess is the oil caught fire due to the potassium reacting with the water. Oil is flammable, after all. And also, remember that it is still not safe once it has completed burning. The potassium reacted with water becomes potassium hydroxide, which is a caustic base. If you use enough water, it wi...

No. Vaseline won't work since it won't isolate it from the air fully. You should only use lab-grade mineral oil to store elemental alkali metal. It must also be in an air-tight container. Best to store usually in the container it came in, unless it is otherwise specified not to. It must remain isola...

What's a crash? $ uptime 14:15:56 up 16 days, 13:09,... $ uptime 01:44 up 28 days, 1:39, ... But some of us don't block flash :) and we suffer flash killing our browser. Hopefully firefox can implement the browse/tab/plugin barriers that chrome is trying to do, so flash only kills the tab in question

Not a great start to the tournament for the ACC (3-4) or SEC (1-2) On the other hand, excellent starts for the Big 12 (6-0), Big East (6-1) and the Pac 10 (5-1) showing that each of those conferences deserved to have those 6-7 bids & are tough basketball conferences. Big 10 (4-3) finished about ...

Maynor really kept it tight, though UCLA couldn't get out of their own way half the time.

Firefox always restores my session perfectly on its own. I can crash my whole system and Firefox will restore all my tabs and windows next time I start up. Wow, I never realized that! I've been using session manager since way before it used to do that... And apparently session manager does other th...

No one uses session manager? How do you deal with when you have to restart firefox (due to crash, install update or extension, etc?)

I'm not talking about who deserves what placement, I'm talking about who'll win the whole thing. Nonconference strength of scheduling is important because the whole tournament is nonconference, conference games are quite different. You play conference teams each year, you get to know the other teams...

The problem I have with louisville is nonconference schedule. Yeah, they are in the mighty tough big east. but their nonconference sucked. They have 0 games against nonconference RPI top-25. And only 3 games against nonconference RPI top-50...and they lost two of them. Compare to UNC, who not only p...

Sorry that Mason lost, but how about that crazy 3-point shot while falling over to tie at the buzzer by Penn State?!

I pick UNC to be national champs.

Blood doesn't usually look like the bright red liquid that you see when you cut your finger. If you are looking for it, it would probably be more of a rusty-red-brown color.

If this is the case, this is what the ER is for! Find some way to get there.

I have never taken xanax or anything like at, but people tell me it is potent stuff (i.e. it calms you down real fast) It has some potential for dependence so you don't want to take it for extended periods of time (it's best if it's used on an as-needed basis) or take too much of it. You want to tak...

UCLA suffer this year because most of their good players left. They might be sweet 16 material, don't see them going more than that. I predict Washington or Arizona State wins the pac-10. L'ville or Wake Forest stand a great shot at the final 4. The state of North Carolina is coming on strong this y...

Portland state needs to win their conference tournament to have a shot. Their strength of schedule and RPI are too low. Neither Oregon or Oregon state will be in the NCAA, they do not have a winning record, you have zero chance if you are not .500. If either showed momentum you could argue they stan...

They're 17-10 and still have 3 road games to go plus a tough home game vs. Purdue. Any wins there will help their RPI even their home win because opponent wins is half the RPI and Purdue has high RPI If they can knock down 4 more wins (reg. season and tournament) they're in good shape because at lea...
