Some NTs might be superficial or willfully ignorant but to call them "disabled" is one of those phony "self-esteem" boosters for people with differences. I would like to be more like the best of the NTs I see, those who have relationships and genuine accomplishments. I want to b... |

It’s good to strike a good balance. At times quantity is better than quality in art. But when you want to publish stuff you obviously need some standards. |

I often unintentionally flirt with guys. I hate it. Especially since I actually have little to no attraction to guys it makes it worse for me. I think happens for several reasons. 1. Body language mirroring. I don’t typically have this issue, but it seems to be very bad with flirting. I tend to mirr... |

So I was just doing some artwork/coloring at Starbucks while my mom was doing some homework. I got another stranger smiling at me. Ugh, I hate when strangers smile at me. It always happens when I do childish/happy things like enjoying music or art. It’s no one’s business when I’m feeling happy. I do... |

I believe it's because people think you're happy when you're dancing to music in public. People like to watch happy people; it makes them happy for the moment. It makes you more "approachable." I’d consider myself hyper/upbeat, but nowhere near being happy. I hate being approachable. I tr... |

I know it’s a stupid idea, but I do it anyways. I notice that a lot of people smile at me or look like they want to talk to me. I understand why I might get looked at, but why the smiles? I’m always wearing headphones, so shouldn’t that be a sign I don’t want to talk to people. Do they think I look ... |

So I have a low performance IQ and high verbal IQ. I don’t notice any problems with visual art and I love doing realistic sculptures. I do have issues reading maps and obviously visual-spatial tests that show up on IQ tests. Is there any other reason my PIQ would be low? This whole IQ business is co... |

I overheard this interesting conversation some NTs were having about this guy who went on monologues. Since it was behind his back I was nervous they would call him autistic or socially ret*d. Instead they said that it’s too much to process. That’s an interesting way of thinking of things. Issues w... |

I think he's saying that many NT's are "disabled" in some way---so NT's shouldn't judge autistic people, like they (autistic people) are the only ones who are "disabled." He advocates "turning the tables" on NT's, so to speak....the NT's as the disabled ones, rather th... |

I was just on the bus and this girl kept smiling at me and looking at me. Often out of the corner of her eye. I saw her again at the coffee shop. She kept on smiling at me at the coffee shop. I’m a girl myself. I’m worried she thought I was weird/autistic or vulnerable. |
