I sort of wish I was normal sometimes. I would maybe be better at school and not be in highschool at 19. I wouldnt have meltdowns or sensory overload. I would be able to have normal conversations and to talk in a way that is normal for my age. I probably wouldnt be picked on. I also might have more ...

I can relate to a lot of what you said. I had a hard time at school, I didn't talk until I was 5. I couldn't read until around 10. Everything at school was too loud, too bright, and uncomfortable. I was made not to flap, talk, make noise, or rock. They put a rubber band around my wrist and would sn...

School has never been easy for me. The academic and social parts of it are very stressful. I wasnt ready to socialize when my mom took me to a family centre. She didnt know I was autistic then. I was diagnosed shortly after. I went to a special needs pre school. That was overwhelming to me. My mom s...

I would work on the communication skills, I don't know exactly what you need to work on but that's a start. Can you provide an example of what happens when you communicate with people? I don't think the way you dress would be the problem. I have seen people dress in some weird things and still make...

My parents seeked out a diagnosis because I started talking late and I didnt respond to my name. I also hated touch and I would stare at the fan for hours at a time or the washing machine.
