I wish I could permanently give up Starbucks hehe but since it's the only place to get coffee where I'm at (there are no walking distance McDonald's and I don't drive) then I have to end up paying an overpriced amount for more ice than coffee |

I'm not sure what you mean by creating complicated delusional systems? Could you give me an example. I'll try. So, you text something to someone and they don't reply. What you don't know is they had a car accident and are in the hospital for a couple weeks, not doing social media. But you assume th... |

Yep. I believe people are prone to this. What do you feel when you see the picture of the celebrity? One definition of “asexual” is the state of not wanting to have sex, but having sexual urges, nevertheless. Maybe you’re “that type” of asexual. I never see someone and think I'd like to have sex wi... |

Being "inside your own head" too much is really not a good state of affairs, because it means being cut off from reality. Rationalizing is merely one way you can go wrong. Creating complicated delusional systems is another. Failure to make achievable life goals is yet another. Any of thes... |

Simply put, do you believe that being on the spectrum and constantly being in your own head makes you susceptible to rationalizing behavior. For example, I spend so much time in my own head I've convinced myself I must be repressing gay sexual urges even though previously I identified very comfortab... |

I identified as asexual before I self diagnosed myself with Aspergers so now I wonder if I just thought I was asexual because I didn't know I was touch repulsed? Whenever I think of having sex I can't insert myself in the situation but I don't mind thinking of other people having sex. I can ... |

I'm aromantic and probably asexual though I'm less sure about the asexual part since I don't know how much my Aspergers and touch aversion play a role in my sexual identity. I am pretty confident I'm aromantic though so whenever I think of a relationship it's usually platonic, kind of like a best fr... |

yes, Abed was very relatable to me. His obsession with pop culture and the way his life merges with whatever movie he is obsessing about at that moment and the way he relates to people through movies... it was a lightbulb moment for me! i did the same with anime! lol i can't relate to sheldon as mu... |

interestingly, it was Abed's character and Harmon's own admission that he thought he may be on the spectrum that made me look into it more seriously. previously, i thought people with aspregres had to be geniuses in maths or the sciences or anything with a lot of logic and sequencing and as I am mo... |

27.5? Was the 0.5 that one time Pierce bought their handshake and they couldn't get the magic back? I've seen the whole series all the way through maybe some 4 times, except season 6 which I've only seen all the way through once (I just don't like seeing it end). But I'm prone to watching random epi... |

It's been a few years since this beloved show has ended but it gave us one of the most lovable aspies in television, Abed Nadir. I just love this show and want to find people who love it too! #sixseasonsandamovie (although the movie seems to be increasingly less plausible) |

From personal experience I definitely agree that you need. To. Stay. Organized. If you're prone to forgetting, have trouble starting tasks you aren't particularly interested in, etc, organization is KEY! Also, DON'T SKIP CLASS. This one might seem obvious but yeah, don't do it. There might be a litt... |

Hi! I'm a 23 year old woman who is quite shy even though I like to think I'm not. When I was in high school my "friends" gave me the nickname of The b***h because I was unknowingly rude to people. I moved to Phoenix, AZ 3 years ago and have made exactly 0 friends and 1 very casual acquaint... |
