So I'm a senior in college and I want to spend significant time (several years) in a foreign country. I'm in my second semester of Persian and I'm trying to get into the University of Tehran. One recommendation came from my Persian teacher, an Iran native, and the other from the head of the anthropo...

16. Jokingly say "Get in the kitchen!" Later ask her why she didn't make any dinner and tell her she's fat and lazy. Jokingly tell her to "Get in the bedroom!"

Lieberman might be a good choice if McCain is planning a centrist campaign. But that choice would alienate many who are challenging his conservative credentials, and it would de-motivate the party's base. The 24 hour news cycle is trying to convince everyone that these "core" group of Republican vo...

I'm in love with a guy called Matt. I can't bare to be away from him. I would do anything for him. I would die for him. He is my life. Without him I would have nothing. I would go to the ends of the earth and further for him or even to just to see his smile. I hope I'm not being obtuse, but this is...

Hackintosh used to be the name of a serial zine back in the day. So weird seeing the name in print again, even if it is used for another purpose.

Yeah I feel you. I think that relationships are a state of being. I find many reasons why I would not want to have children or get married and they are entirely practical and important to my happiness and survival.

It's been my experience that after a while the relationship gets kind of boring. And if the person you are dating has problems in their family/childhood you get to see them replicated in your relationship. I know I'm cynical, but perhaps I'm just sounding off on the typical messed up American family...

Just make sure if you have a live-in girlfriend (or boyfriend) that you get them to sign a claim that says that they will leave whenever you want them to. I've heard of cases where the man, who is paying for the lease or owns the home, tries to kick a girl out and she proves she knows something abou...

Welcome to WP! I'm several hours south of you, in the glorious state of Indiana :) The only time I've been to Indiana was for the Darfur Fort Wayne rally. Apparently there is a sizeable population of Darfurians there. Who knew? Oh and I briefly touch Indiana as I move from Illinois to Michigan.

I would assume that since you said ethernet "didn't work" that the issue isn't the authorization of DRM coded music yet. The issue is that you can't find a way to transport the files. Mac actually has a way to exchange files with Windows computers over ethernet, although most people don't use it bec...
