I drive. I don't drive on the highway, only local roads. I studied for the written part of the road test and applied what I read to driving on the road. I passed my road test the first time. |

Last year I left my job because the atmosphere had become hostile to me. I needed to get away from the place. So in the meantime I've kept busy with various projects at home. Recently I been starting to look for a job and yesterday it dawned on me that I have not been the person I was at work the w... |

In college I needed to use a scientific calculator to pass my statistics course. I also needed to use a computer since the course was online. I use the Android app iHeartRadio so I can stream my favorite radio stations in the morning before work, it helps me relax and prepare mentally for the day at... |

I've outed my autistic coworker to a few people because they were talking negatively about him behind his back, like they knew something was wrong with him so I told them he's autistic just like me and they stopped doing it. |

In kindergarten. I would sit alone in a corner of the room and play with animal toys by myself. I didn't interact with the other children. Teachers complained to my mother about this, but she didn't want there to be anything wrong with HER child so she never tried to get me psychological help growin... |

And then eventually, inevitably, I am reminded that my attempts at meaningful conversation with neurotypicals always ends unsatisfactorily. It never quite leads anywhere meaningful. I was married for ten years and now that I'm divorced I have to accept that I will be alone for the rest of my life...... |

The dentures are not that expensive. Give them a try, you will expect an adjustment period but if you can handle it, all the better for you. |

Well, I've never considered taking this sort of thing before. Now I am. So, any recommendations? Just a warning. I was prescribed Risperidone and Wellbutrin. These medications gave me very scary heart palpitations. I even passed out twice, I had to stop taking them. If you have side effects like th... |

Is it typical for an adult male with Asperger's to prefer interacting with the opposite gender, even if he has no sexual interest in the girls? I've been told by an NT person who is close to me that I have an unsettling stare. Furthermore, she has told me that she's noticed the exact same stare in other people on the autistic spectrum. She characterizes it as a fixed, empty gaze, that appears cold and unfeeling, almost not-human. She says ... |

I need ear buds to listen to music if I'm traveling and sometimes in my own house to be honest. Other than that, I like stuffed animal keychains. I need to get one. |

Hello, I just joined this site wrongplanet today. I'm in my mid-20's and am simply trying to make the best out of my life. It wasn't until recently that a therapist I see suggested that it could very well be possible I've had a low level of Asperger's that remained undetected. I know I sure have fa... |

I would recommend trying to get a diagnosis if you can so you can be sure what your issue is, Asperger's or something else (which I think is the case for you). |
