I've always been great with logic, math, and computers. But I am terrible at chess. I understand the fundamentals, but chess requires that ability to "see" several moves in the future, and that's where it gets me.

You should explain to the assessor how hard it is for you to achieve things that most people achieve with ease. I have only recently, at age 29, begun discussing autism with my therapist and don't have an official diagnosis (though he agrees that a good case could be made for it), so take this with a grain of salt.
