Forum: General Autism Discussion   Topic: Can animals spot Aspies and Love them?

I've thought about this as well because I noticed a stronger connection with animals. I'll try to explain my theory on this matter. Most animals have a sharper grasp on reality and their perception is at a higher level than most humans. Not to mention it's as if they have a 'sixth sense'. Most norma...

I was born when my mother turned 17 and my father turned 19. That's when I was born.

I have a pretty serious form of aspergers so I doubt that theory has little relation with age. Interesting none-the-less though.

This might sound odd. In a certain sense, everyone intimidates me except other aspies. Of course if you met me in person I act as though I'm not scared of anything and I'm not. The word scared and intimidate are two different meanings. Why does everyone intimidate me? Mostly a biased statement but t...

Ugh, anyone who wants to be an aspie obviously isn't an aspie because they wouldn't be saying that had they been an aspie. How could anyone who's not an aspie possibly understand how much it screws with your head and seperates you from the world. Hell is not a place people 'want' to visit and thinki...

We all have something that keeps us here and who we are regardless of whatever happens. What's your one thing? It could be a family member, a spouse, a feeling, materialistic object, a purpouse, or anything. Name it. For me? Compassion. "And of some having compassion, making a difference. And other...

Forum: General Autism Discussion   Topic: anyone with AS feel there is no real connection w/ parents?

I never really looked at my parents as 'parents' until I turned 12 and said, hey wait...these are parents? It's really weird but I was merely co-existing rather than knowing I had a bond with anybody. I always lived as though I was alone. Even now, I'd have no problems turning my back on those aroun...

I'd have killed myself too but I'm too damn stubborn. I'd rather run naked, annoy the world, and die by death sentance rather than kill myself. Things that depressed me? Let me see... 1. First psychotic girlfriend, left me because she was almost raped by gym teacher and she hated guys afterwards. 2....

De ja vu. I live that life except I'm probably a you, 3 years later. Man, no advice would help me when I felt like you. Even now that feeling of hopelessness hasn't completely gone away. General interests and love no longer seem interesting even though you wish you could have it. I got really random...

I see a lot of topics about how social junk sucks, but no topics about interaction. So, who actually really wants to be friends/chat buddies? No stress involved. I'm 19/m/cal and willing to do social stuff with anyone around my age group if anybody wants to. If anyone's interested then just post you...

Still a virgin. I was real close. She was naked in front of me with her legs spread. I couldn't do it though because I didn't love her. Hahaha! Yeah I'm weird, but I'm also very stubborn. I'd love not to be a virgin but like some say, it's worthless unless you really love the other person to the poi...

Yeah, what's up with that. I happen to believe a lot of people are discriminate against people with aspergers. A lot of people find us weird and hate us, especially people who don't know anything about aspergers. Isn't THAT bad? Their the aliens! This has got to be the most normal community I've eve...
