Yeah it makes total sense. And purpledragonflies I was acting since I started since the start of high school. To an extent I still am. In that sense, I might make a good stage actor, because a lot of days I'm acting the whole time. Also really liked how OP 4 years ago brought up the Nazis. I've bee... |

being big didn't save me from the verbal abuse and threats. once a bully, always a bully, I have found. there is not a hell hot enough for those irredeemable sociopaths. :x Be comforted that bullies tend to go to jail when they grow up. :) I personally don't want bad things to happen to my bullies.... |

I've had people misinterpret me a lot. There was one time that I was working doing grounds maintenance at a location that had a bunch of parking lots together. There was a guy who was trying to make a move on me. I told him that I will be friends with him but that's it. He tried to charm me for wee... |

I was accused of staring at people a lot as a kid. I would just zone-out & daydream partly due to AD[H]D & probably stress & I would get accused of staring cuz my head was facing someone. I also have a rare low vision disorder & I sometimes don't look at things directly maybe partly... |

hello, i can understand what you're feeling. i have recently, in the past 6-8 months (can't remember exactly) started writing everyday, anywhere from 3-20 pages. it helps me to identify my emotions, because otherwise, I get overwhelmed and sort of distance myself from my emotions, and end up just go... |

Oh, I was just worried that I came off pompous or something. If I only talk when I have something relevant to say, then I am pretty much going to be silent 98% of the time. It is weird that being quiet is thought of as sneaky or like there's some bad intent there. But really I'm just daydreaming alot |

For a long time I have felt like I dont even fit in with my family, like they dont understand me. Lately I am trying to build friendship with my siblings, I want to have a deep connection. I am going through the same thing. I do love my family, and I recognize that I wasn't perfect. So I have alot ... |

You've made some interesting points. Its weird, mostly I'm pretty quiet. But people don't seem to like that either, haha. Most bosses and coworkers comment on it constantly, like its a bad thing. Like, WHY DON'T YOU TALK MORE! But yes, I've been trying to be more relevant with my conversations, and ... |

"It means that the friends we have are only friends of the persona we present to them. Being "in the closet" about being autistic is painful, isolating, and lonely. " This quote from the original thread post really rang true. I got bullied so badly, I made up a fake persona to su... |

I guess this is a vague topic, but I feel like it took almost 30 years for me to understand socializing at all. In the past couple years, i've made leaps and bounds. I guess before that, I was totally oblivious as to when I was staring at people or just being "weird" (in their opinion). It... |

Once four bullies cornered me at a water fountain held me still pulled down my pants and each spit water into them then haphazardly pulled them up and started yelling haha she peed her pants and pointing me our to other kids in the hall. But ya as someone else said, the constant verbal abuse and tr... |

I had a bully punch me in the lower belly and exclaim "i hope you can't have kids now! the world doesn't need more of you". I had someone try to stab me. I had rocks thrown at me. and the verbal abuse never ended |

yes. I have a very active imagination and can easily (and in great detail) imagine car accidents and getting attacked by bears and random things like that. I find that directing my imagination in a positive direction helps alot (like watercolor painting or drawing). It sort of trains me to picture p... |
