I was thinking it could be side effects from different meds, but I guess not. Sorry I don't know. |

I was so confused about team sports as a kid. I had no understanding of what the point of it was at all. I understand the games now, but still not interested in the slightest. In gym class in elementary school we would sometimes have to divide into teams for dodge ball, basketball or floor hockey an... |

I had my own 20 gallon tropical aquarium growing up. There was a nice assortment of fish to watch and I would do it for hours, very relaxing. But.. the maintenance to keep the tank clean and keep fish healthy was a ton of work which is why I don't have an aquarium as an adult. When I saw the title t... |

I have lots of trouble politely walking past people. Does this sound familiar? YES. I've always been so uncomfortable starting since I was a little kid. Whether it was passing a person on the street in my neighborhood, or passing in the hallway at school or at work. I walk my dogs at night so there... |

I feel like I don't really have a family and like I'm not really a part of my own family. I feel like a complete outsider in my family. I neither fit in with them nor do they treat me like a part of the family. Same. I have felt like I wasn't part of my family since I was in 1st grade. Always. I kn... |

I have the same issue with interrupting, and from what I can tell by reactions I get (like "LET ME FINISH MY SENTENCE"), I'm really a severe case. A few people close to me started telling me that I interrupt constantly, and the worst part is that I've been totally unaware that I do that. C... |

I had the same type thing happen at the gas pump. A simple task became difficult. I was out of state and went to put gas in my car. All the buttons that I am familiar with were all very differently arranged and I just went blank. Really started panicking and had to pull it together. It took me a whi... |

I just read this entire thread and I can relate to every post and they are all so helpful by just knowing others are struggling like me with interaction. I find every aspect tiring in my 50's. At younger ages I was better at it or maybe willing to try harder. |

Tickling, grabbing, poking all torture.. makes me flip out. Also can't take the sound of babies crying. If I'm watching a movie and there is a baby crying in it, I have to immediately mute it. |

I become a completely different person depending on who I'm mixing with. I don't like it. Same here.. I noticed I did that since grade school and its not something I like either. Getting into 'character' to interact is so completely draining, especially now that I'm older. Can barely do it anymore. |

They all seem to be effortlessly on the 'same page' together, where for me it takes extreme effort to attempt to be on that page. That being the case for me, they give me anxiety. |
