To get to the point, I have an oral exam for my French class coming up, and 10 points out of 40 are for eye contact and body language, which I have consistently failed in for both the English and Japanese languages with the addition of the French Language to that list. eye contact and body language...

I'm back with more typical high school social confusion. Oh boy, where to begin? Well, the girl I like might be considering the thought of going out with me, she's been nicer to me than usual lately. So, when summer comes I'll ask her out. BUT, someone else likes me. Well, I think so. She sticks up...

i've become pretty excellent at soliciting clarification of what i have just heard. i look at asking for clarification as a kind of "preventative medicine." it snuffs out any future difficulties before they occur. that's the only reason i can do it. however, when i am selectively listening to someon...

i find that mine has improved markedly with adhd medication, for whatever reason (adderall 20 mg/day.)

the difference between kaixo taking adderall and kaixo not taking adderall is pretty darned shocking.

i don't know how that can be helped really. the only thing to do is remind her of why you speak so loudly.

i'm a female. from the research i've done i have a definite "male" thought process. i rarely interact well with females on a "friendship" basis at all, but i have throughout my life only had one friendship (strangely enough, nearly always female, but usually someone with a preference for science or ...

Anyone else finds that left brain processes tend to get discriminated more, instead of vice versa? If society is "devaluing the right brain", why is it so many sucessful people are considered to be intuitive? I do not think that they got sucessful in spite of their right brain skills, rather becaus...

absolute zero: succinctly stated! i like what you've said. maybe i should clarify. i am not entirely sure if i will ever be able to "change" this aspect of myself. however, i am willing to cooperate with my psychiatrist. i think that the things that we see as social skills are entirely inverse to wh...

i think there are more single aspie males than females. NT males tend to be somewhat more aggressive than females as a whole. however, i think i should make it clear that there are women who would see an ASD man as unattainable, and thus, desirable. i think there is some general misconception that h...
