Yes, I think he is and FWIW I think Lisa Simpson is too. It was written into one episode that Bart has ADHD, so I'd like it if the writers wrote an AS episode for someone.
I'd much rather speculate about fictional figures than historical ones. What's the point of Dx'ing the dead? |

Just yesterday I lost my purse. I recall very clearly putting a pen in it yesterday morning as it was on my counter. For some reason though I took my keys and wallet out of it and put them in my jacket pocket. I left for coffee, and when I got to the coffee shop (2 blocks away) I noticed I didn't ha... |

Exactly the same happened when I went there. So are we left-brained, right-brained or just scatter-brained? |

I loved the first movie, but I have no interest in the series. I saw it in theaters a dozen times. I had the VHS, but I've since upgraded to the DVD.
I love the Broadway Musical, and I even got the opportunity to see it while it was in previews in Minneapolis 10 years ago. |

I LOVE coffee. It gets my brain working in the morning. I like it fresh-ground and black. I didn't like it at all until I was 25, but I eventually succumbed to the aromas.
For later in the day I like caramel macchiatos once in a while. I only drink coffee at night if I'm also eating a rich dessert. |

I have no forgiveness for them. In fact, I hope they grew up to lead a life of crime and ended up as someone's prison b***h.
I do have forgiveness for anyone who has ever wronged me and actually came around and said they were sorry. It's that easy. |

Yes, flashing, animated avatars are truly annoying for me. You don't need to cover them with your hand, you know -- you can just freeze your browser (little red x next to refresh icon). This is what I do. Works great. |

My "diagnosis" came from my family. My sister and my mom are convinced that I have it. I don't have a formal diagnosis, but I have a lot of the symptoms.
If I do have AS, I've had it all my life and nothing changes. I'm still in partial denial. I could use someone to relate to. |

Being in the sun always improves my mood, so winter depression is really the one that takes its toll on me. A couple years ago I discovered the best way to beat winter depression is to find something I like doing in the dark -- for me it was curling up with a mug of hot chocolate, a handful of cleme... |

hmmm... In the past 20 years, all the men I've really been attracted to have been engineers. There might be something to this theory. |

Concerts are among my favorite things. They are events when I feel really "NT." I enjoy the crowds, I can make small talk with strangers, and the bright lights and loudness are quite enjoyable. I feel like I am part of a "community." I've seen Elton John over 60 times in 18 or 19 different states. I... |

My first job was a work-study position at my university's foreign language lab. I did a lot of tape rewinding there. Out of college, it was a 2 day temp job packing books into boxes. AWFUL! I felt like I was being completely wasted. My first meaningful job didn't happen for 5 years after I got my Ma... |

No, Asperger's is the female Asperger's. I was naturally thin as a teenager. Now at middle age, I'm an OK weight for my height (not obese). I don't think AS and eating disorders have too much in common. |

Everyday -- I travel very light. Purse containing wallet (1 debit card, 1 credit card, a few business cards, State ID, cash); a Parker Roller Ball pen (the only kind I use); my apartment keys, a pencil and occasionally Post-It notes and moist towelettes. If I need to commute somewhere I'll bring my ... |

I made the decision not to have children when I was a teenager. I am 45 now and I don't regret not having kids. As I get older, I find I like them less. My original reason was because I didn't particularly enjoy my own childhood, but now I just find kids emotionally exhausting even if I am around th... |
