I'm in a polyamorous relationship. My wife N and I have been together for a little over fifteen years. It's been the strongest, most healthy, and most amazingly supportive relationship I've been in. We've grown so much together, and it's been genuinely, deeply life-changing and sustaining. Sometimes... |

I suffer from pretty serious executive dysfunction most mornings. I spend anywhere from 20mins to over an hour from the time my alarm first goes off until I've stopped snoozing, have read some online social media or forums as I wake up, and am actually out of bed. The exact time depends on how tired... |

What exactly does "conceal your gender" mean to you in the context of an in-person interaction or a celebrity? It looks to me like it's impossible, making your suggestion basically impossible. Commenting on someone's gender presentation hurts people in the same way commenting on someone's ... |

I have a bunch of randomly-generated laser-etched plastic snowflakes I made, but I can't figure out how to upload a picture of them to the forum. Basically, though, it's physical representations of this: https://botsin.space/@flurry |

Someone else's gender isn't a matter of debate for anyone besides themselves and the people they explicitly invite into the discussion. |

Perhaps that is why poets used to write of "Lethe" (the river [perhaps more like stream] of oblivion) during the Romantic Period of English literature. Fun fact: Lethe and my username are from the same ancient Greek roots. There are some life lessons I'd love to just forget. I feel like t... |

I officiate roller derby. There are skaters I've seen at games every month for the last eight years--and for some of those months I saw them multiple times a week. But I see them on the track, in a helmet, with a unique number on their jersey, in skates that add 2 inches to their height. I don't go ... |

When people talk about "struggling with daily living skills," they are usually speaking about things like toileting, washing up, cooking, things like that. "ADL skills." Thanks for this! I hadn't previously been exposed to this distinction, and it's a really helpful one for me u... |

Yesterday I got the paper draft of my diagnosis report from my psychologist. We talked through it for several hours to make sure I understood it, and I wanted to spend a big chunk of that on the level. I went in pretty stressed about what level she'd assess. We hadn't talked much about my adult life... |

If she says she's bi then she's bi. If you want to date her then ask her if she's interested. If she is, then it's pretty unlikely that she'll one day decide she's gay and can't continue her relationship with you. It happens, but it's uncommon. |

I don't remember the speaker's exact credentials, but I remember she seemed very well informed on the discussion surrounding the decision to combine the diagnoses. In ... |

Doc says ASD+ADHD. There's more tests for related details before she writes up her final report, but she affirmed at the end of testing today that it'll include those. |

What's interesting is that some sectors like the IT industry are becoming less concerned about paper qualification and more interested in capacity, job ready skills and task competency. This should be advantageous to autistic individuals who are unable to attend college but have these type of skill... |
