Mostly no. When I'm severely stressed and melting down I feel like that. I really hate being out of control. |

Artificial scents (surprise, surprise). I can't stand to be in some stores or aisles of stores. All the conflicting scents make it even worse. I really hate going to someone's house and it reeking of fake flowers because I feel like I can't politely escape. The sound of metal clinking against glass.... |

Sit up til it goes away. Eat some Tums. Vow yet again not to eat within three hours of bedtime in the future.
Think about putting bricks back under the bed legs under the head of the bed. |

Just found this old post. I'm in the process of leaving the US and retiring in Ecuador. Sixteen days until my plane leaves! I only figured out I was an Aspie @ a month ago, long after I decided to move. This is a little odd. I have no idea how to find other Aspies in a country where I barely speak t... |

Very belatedly: This is so me. Every single page of any form gives me anxiety attacks. It doesn't even matter if it's a straight forward form; it's still going to make me crazy, sweaty, short of breath, and pounding heart. It's just a matter of degree between the simple and the multi page panic indu... |

I don't divide my clothes by season, but by temperatures I'm likely to encounter. Since I wear the same colors year round and layer as needed I only have to change out the more extreme temperature clothes seasonally. It helps that I worked in a very casual job so there wasn't a big division between ... |

"I'm sorry, I'm not interested." Rinse, wash, repeat. You don't owe any explanation or details. Say it louder if you need to repeat. Drop the "I'm sorry" after the first one. It's just a social nicety. It's also not required at all but may help unless the guy is truly aggressive.... |

I don't have a formal diagnosis, and probably won't bother getting one, but it explains SO MUCH of my life. Newbie too. I'm 62. |

Very late to reply to this, but might be useful to someone else. If you switch to satellite view on Google maps, then zoom all the way in to where you want to explore, , it will switch to street view (if it hasn't right away, keep scrolling in) and you can walk down the street virtually. You can eve... |

It depends on what you mean by establishment. If you mean the capitalists, the super rich, the PTB, I'd say they are doing marvelously in their own terms where they win the money and control the power. |

I moved to Peru two years ago from the US and it was the best decision of my life. My stress level is 10% of what it was when I was living in California. Nobody cares what you wear, what you do, or what you say over here. I can walk everywhere and learning Spanish was a really interesting experienc... |
