Partly agree and partly disagree. College is a waste of time BUT you have to do it in order to get what you want. It costs money AND takes you away from making money at the same time. BUT and this is a big but It gets you where you WANT to be, in the long run. You can't look at it in the short-term ...

I just walked out on a job last week because my aspieness didn't fit in.

They valued "fitting in" more highly than getting the work done.

It sucks. I'm still having a hard time figuring out how to explain it at my next job interview tomorrow.
