I hate weekends. Why? Because I wait all through the week, hoping something nice or exiting will happen in the weekend, and as much as I try, or go out, or call some friends, it's just so uneventfull. Basicly, it's a same crap / different day feeling. That's true for me sometimes too. And I do like... |

I don't know that I space out in the mornings in particular, but I definitely space out when I'm overly tired...or at other random times, usually when I'm talking to people which isn't good, LOL. |

Oh yeah, I can relate. There's only one person who doesn't drain me, and some people definitely drain me more than others...people I still consider friends, I just can't help that I get tired from being around them. |

Oh story of my life...Definitely bring music, and a GOOD book - preferrably something easy to read, because it will be hard to concentrate. Oh, and play games by looking at the people around you (not staring rudely, though! LOL) and guessing where they're from, making up stories about them, or playi... |

I know what you mean! For me it has to do with fact v fiction. If I want to learn about dinosaurs, I want to know the facts, not some theoretical about how they would survive in the modern world (or whatever the case is). I know it's an attempt to make things interesting, and to present the facts in... |

It puts me up close with bad smells and I'm hyper sensitive to smell so it's difficult. That's the number one reason I hate it too. Every time I have to do housework, I know I'm going to have a migraine afterwards. :( That's why I tend to do it right before bed, so I can sleep off my headache. So f... |

Yeah, I listen to music when I study, but only without lyrics. I like classical and instrumental versions of rock songs, and the new Peter Pan soundtrack. :) Music helps me focus and blocks out other distracting noises...but with lyrics, forget it. I'm a word person, so if I hear lyrics, I have to p... |

If you contact her on myspace saying that, she'll know you like her. If that's what you want, then perfect! But as a shy girl, if by chance I didn't like you yet, I would be freaked out that you found me on myspace. The safest bet is to say hi to her in real life a few times, maybe ask for something... |

I sort of know what you mean. I feel happy and I'm tired of my winter clothes now, so I'm ready for spring. And it helps that London has been really sunny lately, and today it was even warm! (Well, there wasn't the usual ice cold wind anyway.) I feel like it's springtime already. |

I think I'm still innocent. I had a very sheltered childhood, and so did my best friends. I'm always more affected than others by movies that show "common" things like bullying or being cheated or hard partying, because they're still foreign to me. I've never hated anyone specifically, but I do hate... |

With sleep deprivation, there is a loss of inhibition, which probably accounts for feeling more sociable. Or maybe sleep deprivation for Aspies is like Ritalin for people with ADHD - it has the opposite effect on us, LOL. No, I don't really think sleep deprivation and AS are related, but it was weir... |

Ok, I'm reading this book called Sleepfaring by Jim Horne, which is all about sleep and what happens when you are deprived of it. Here are some of the characteristics of sleep deprivation: - difficulty "comprehending and coping with a rapidly changing situation" (p 75) - difficulty empathizing "with... |

I guess the thing is AS people are sometimes very idealistic, and very functional in our way of thinking. Everything has to have a function, and we have to understand it otherwise its useless. Yeah, and that's how I view makeup. I like to look natural (and feel natural!) but I use a bit of powder a... |

When I was a kid and a teenager, I had intense obsessions. I thought about them all the time and couldn't wait to get back to them. Everything else was a distraction. I'm no longer like that. I think it's because I have other responsibilities now, and also because I'm more socially aware and need pe... |
