Definitely! Especially when I have some distance to walk. I estimate first how many hundred steps it will take, then count on 100’s and somehow get there. Or, if there are a lots of stairs, or doing repetitive tasks that are going to take a long time. My stimming is knitting, so I always count and c...

Moreso meaning eg someone might be smiling and nodding but totally disagree. or someone is shaking their head like they’re saying no and then they say yes.
It is something that can be learned but I still find it hard to read someone’s intentions until it’s too late.

Hello I’m new to this group. I’m a late diagnosed Aspie/Add professional woman in my 60’s and was just looking for a space to chat to like minded people. I love being an Aspie. Very happy in my own skin and I keep finding differences I’ve just taken for granted even after all these years!

Does anyone else have severe problems with vacuum cleaners? I seem to end up tripping, getting them stuck, the hose tangled and end up having a melt down. PLUS the noise drives me up the wall! I’ve never come across this being an Aspie problem and was wondering if others have the same issue? :roll:
