| For boys, they get a testosterone boost around this age and things can go a bit pear-shaped. Not sure about girls, but guess hormones kick in for them too at different stages. |

| Am looking into getting contact lenses for our 13-yr old son, instead of glasses. He has Aspergers and some sensory issues to go with it eg. doesn't like woollen jerseys, overheats, is pain-sensitive when he is more anxious/upset. Do contact lenses create sensory issues or do most ASD people find it... |

I think it makes a difference, but sometimes difficult to gauge. Other dietary supplements I'm using are Phosphatydil Serine (promotes better function of neurotransmitters in brain) and ToCoQ10 (helps with concentration and energy). Have managed to stay drug free so far as a result.  |

| Could you give us a general idea of the type of questions? And also, are you looking for feedback on the whole spectrum or just a certain group? eg. high-functioning Aspergers is a completely different ball game to others who are severely affected in their communication with others. |

| At the IEP, I would try and get a dispensation on homework. My son is AS and has struggled with homework - school is for schoolwork and home is for home stuff, as far as he's concerned. Between the ages of 7-10 he was pretty much allowed to do minimal homework. Reading was encouraged . . . and then ... |
