I'm glad people are finally finding this thread. Nice to see all the replies and that there are those who share my appreciation for Chakotay :D Ok, as for the writing part, I wonder. Were you guys afraid to commit to the writing, been away and couldn't reply, afraid to get to know each other, hated ...

Slink, Thank you for replying to that. I wasn't even sure what to say. I never mentioned the Dominion War, the War on Terror or a connection and I think the political ranting just confused me. However on the Shakespeare and new colony subjects I can say this. Star Trek had a fan base for a reason. T...

Hello Trekkies, Ok, so here goes for my summary- Space, still the final frontier. A new series is in the works for sometime after the TNG timeline, perhaps in the near enough future to allow former characters to pop in. In this future the Federation is beginning to fall apart and civil war threatens...

Ok, If we want to do the near future, I think that's great. Like I said, I saw an interview where the TNG cast said they would like the idea of doing more Star Trek. Also, I wanted to ask who here actually wanted to work on the writing part. There's a big difference between brainstorming and the act...

Whew! Wow, what a discussion. Sorry everbody, but the truth is, at this moment I am trying to limit my internet activity. So sorry I can't reply every day. Ok, I think we have one great idea now. Not so much the shady side of the federation, but more a federation that is faultering. To sum up- We ar...

I know, I can throw out ideas all day. But I do like doing something with the Maquis or another group like them. Do you know the timeline of the Maquis? I know it is in the same timeline as TNG, DS9 and Voyager, but how long does this war with the Cardassians last? If the timeline is wrong we could ...

Hmm, A story arc sounds good. Personally I like when shows do that, as long as the story is good. Enterprise kind of tried that with the whole destruction of Earth and time travel stuff, but I think it was a little too loose. The storyline kind of fell apart. So you like Excalibur? The only problem ...

Well, if anyone watching this thread (and I don't know if it's many since it's not moving much), but if anyone was interested in actually writing a series I think it would be cool to collaberate. It's tough to come up with new Star Trek stuff. It has to involve more than what new alien they're goin...

Actually I hate math too. Writing I love and I've actually published one book. It only sold abut 60 copies. It's called Zero ONe Zero and is about a guy who finds out his life is a lie. It's kind of an action/sci-fi thing. You can check it out at Amazon. They haven't sold any, but it's there!

Well, I think an Aspie colony is interesting, but I wouldn't want it to be exclusive anyway. That's kind of liking me feeling left out in the "real world." That's why I called it a Refuge for the Refuse. But I would definitely like to start some kind of community, even if it was only a few acres of ...

I would so love to be the person who wrote that next show, but since I've only published one measly little book that sold about 60 copies I doubt that would happen. I kind of had an idea like Enterprise before it came out. Too bad they didn't work harder on that show. I've wanted to write a Star Tre...

DejaQ- I had a crush on Dr. Bashir once too, but I like Chakotay's culturalness (is that a word?) and his quiet determination.

Slink-
I don't think Ducat is inherently evil either. Have a thing for the Romulans huh? What is your take on reunification with the Vulcan's?
