I'm a Aquarius. I want everyone to know though that there is a lot more to astrology than just your Sun Sign. Your Sun Sign just describes your basic ego and personality that you are learning to become. You have an entire birth chart and also have different signs in each of the planets when you were...

Of course we want you to get a girlfriend! We want our fellow aspies to be happy. I think the quarantine has made dating more difficult for everyone including NTs. I know I was doing pretty good with an online dating app called Hinge and manage to get a few dates before quarantine. However, with qua...

Just a few nights after that other girl that I posted about on here last week, another girl on Bumble comes along. This conversation lasted just 2 days. But in that time I felt even better with this one than I did the last one. Had stuff in common and all. On Friday night I decided that there was n...

[quote="RoadRatt"]I have no idea how to make real life friends, or even connect with people in my area. I look online and I always get dating sites suggested, which isn't what I want. I have never owned a cellphone, nor used apps. How do you connect with people in your area?[/quote I'd rec...

I went, I enjoyed the prom. My mom set me up on a date with one of her friends' daughters.
My date was very clingy and we just didn't have great chemistry.

I would like to know how well did you get along with everyone in high school when you were there? Did you like it or did you hate it? What did you like about your high school or what did you not like about it? There were a few bullies that knew I had autism and used it as an opportunity to pick on ...

I'd say anywhere between $8 to $14 depending on the bar you go to.

I was diagnosed at 4. As a kid growing up, I definitely had my fair share of sensory issues and emotional meltdowns. This continued in a diminished form thoroughout middle and high school. By the time, I reached college though I didn't have many meltdowns and my sensory issues were pretty much gone....

When you are on a dating site, how do you know that you are really interest in somebody out of all the men & women pictures you see?

A few things that determine whether I'm interested in someone

-Attraction to their pictures

-Similar/Common Interests

-Their Values and Personality Traits

My family obviously knows I have autism. For the most part, I only tell people who seem trustworthy about my ASD. The main reason I don’t tell people initially is I feel like I can pass for NT and want people to like me. I just view my ASD as a super personal matter. I did tell this girl who I dated...

Driving is one of those things that you get better at through experience. The main thing is to pay attention to the road at all times and be ready for the unexpected. Some drivers for example don't use their turn signals when changing lanes so may change lanes suddenly. It's important to be able to ...

What I meant by passing for NT is seeming like a "normal" (not "weird") person (in terms of things like body language, facial expressions, voice, mannerisms, conversational habits, etc.). I wouldn't expect it to occur to the average person to think "autistic" rather th...

You aren't alone. I think there are a plenty of people (both NT/AS people) who have been on date at that age. My NT sister didn't have her first date at 18 and I think she is still looking for it. I'm 22 and have really only been on a handful of dates with no girlfriend. I think it's common for AS g...

The site is working okay but on the find matches page when you do a search the minimum age for when you do a filter is 51 years old. Can you make the ending age less than 51 years old?

I would say your best bet to make friends is clubs and your living situations. I made friends through my dorm and apartment living situations. I also made some friends through joining clubs and organizations. You could also use this technique for study buddies in class you can exchange numbers with ...

How do people be friends with each other? I never had a friend (prior to the one I have now) and I don't know how to be one. I ask people IRL and they say things and it eventually devolves into "I don't know!" I have another person that I could potentially be friends but, I just don't kno...
