Any other aspie have no problem recognizing faces? It's easy for me. If I see how I can analyze even small details, I've never had trouble recognizing. Is it normal for people in the spectrum not to have that difficulty?

Does anyone have any tips for controlling intrusive thoughts? My imaginative capacity is very strong and these intrusive and repetitive thoughts end up making me doubt my person. Would it be right to use medication?

I'm not referring to a water filter. I'm in need of a "social filter", I've been saying inappropriate things and this will destroy my few relationships. I have no therapeutic help, does anyone know how I can better control what I say without having a shutdown in the middle of conversations?

I see that many autists are constantly getting stressed and sad. Maybe it's just a period of social hangover, due to social exposure from end-of-year parties. At these times we need to be prepared and know what may be happening. To be honest and explain, people may see us as disinterested, but we ar...

For 99.9% of questions beginning with "Does every autistic person ....", the answer is no. This. I do hate questions that include "all" or "every" and "autistic people" in the same sentence. I remember once there being a thread here asking "do all autist...

I, although I have dyscalculia, can do calendar calculations with great accuracy. Can you say that every asperger has some savant ability?

It was 13 years old. After a mess that happened between friends of mine. I was accused of being a sociopath because I was laughing inappropriately, after a meltdown, discovering me with autism

You know, I usually tell people that you're curious, that being aspie is just weird because we live in a world shaped by and for NTs. They make a lot of noise everywhere, they like strong lights and colors, their emotions are screaming and show them easily, very sentimental and also usually like to ...

I'm the kind of guy who likes to imagine how the music was made and produced. I like to think about what your melody is like on a piano.

The i.Q. is just a drop of water in an ocean of crativities. Intelligence is only the perception of error. You don't have to worry about these things.
