My husband is the Supervisor of a department in a hospital. He has only three employees under him. This is a ...

in my personal experience of life, all the people i have known who were incapable of admitting fault, and have trouble being honest with themselves about who they are and how they conduct themselves, were the most unhappy (and often the most unstable internally).....there is nothing wrong with bein...

I can't agree as my positions I do not get passionate about (even though you insist I get defensive). Well you do a bit. Defensiveness isn't necessarily passionate, or even heated, or even luke warm. It can be very cold and methodical. Sometimes it is around here, since some Aspies use their logic ...

because attacking people doesn't endear them to your point of view? I'm confused here. Please explain. And I don't get passionate in a fight. I just have, occasionally. This appears contradictory. But, I think I understand what you mean here. You don't always get passionate in a fight but sometimes...

Well, you may have been telling yourself that when you wrote it, and you are certainly telling yourself (and everyone else) that now, and it may very well be your (conscious-placating), surface intention ; but in my experience any time one stands on a soap box to proclaim ones superiority and finge...

acutally its kind of opposite. I don't feel better or worse about myself because my conversations aren't powerplays. Do I look at myself as more higher up the ladder yes but thats only because people didn't make the same choice I did. Thats fine but when your attacking everything around you it reek...

I think its more of an issue that people don't like how the logic approach comes off to them. Without the emotional element it comes off abrasive. Sure. It can. This place has taught me (anyway) to grow a thicker skin about that one though. People communicate differently. The need for others to for...

Okay... Now you pissed Me off! I happen to like Japanese Tentacle Porn. Although I acknowledge that I am disturbingly mental, so it is what it is, what it is, what it is... Where was I? Anyway... It occurs to me (I know this has been pointed out already in various ways) that posting this topic unde...

I don't really have any friends here. I think when I wander away there are a few who might actually breathe a sigh of relief.  *sighs* Oh well. There are those who I think are just flat good, genuinely kind people and so I like them, those whose opinions and intellects I respect a lot...

Crowley put an "x" over the cross to indicate a negation of the cross, That never occurred to me, but it does make sense. So Scientology is a satanic religion? Not quite. Like he said Hubbard was a fan of Crowley, and absorbed some of his 'teachings' in his occult meanderings. Satanic aspects here ...
