I have many favourites, but the most useful book I read was
Wasted: A memoir of anorexia and bulimia, by Mary Hornbacher.
It was recomended to me by my friend who was anorexic, it really helped me to understand her condition.

It's a drink I've always wanted to try, where can you buy it from in the UK, I've never seen it in the supermarkets.

Do you drink it neat or mix it with something?

I was told that it can be a side effect of Risperidone. I would really talk to your doctor about it. You maybe able to change to a more suitable medication.

I wish i could complain, but I'm not very assertive. I always say the meal was lovely, even when it's not. Thank you all for your replies! I've got some good ideas now. I'm going to go shopping and see if I can buy seemless socks, didn't even know there was such a thing! Krex-That's a great idea about the books on sensitivities, I never thought about that! I will have a look on Amazon.

He loves his feet massaged with cream, so I'll try and do it before the socks go on!

Did you do something to overcome them, or did it just go away?

I've tried rewarding him when he has had to wear clothing that he finds uncomfortable, but it doesn't seem to work.
He says that the clothes physically hurt him.
