I follow a lot of artists in indie dance / nu-disco / electro / pop, and I think ones I like a lot are Fred F... |

yes, i am a lot into music too, when i was mixing bands the other week i thought to myself "what is it about music that requires such a big ego?" and the truth is, nothing. the music business requires a big ego. but music itself is free, it only costs the time to make it, the time to play it, and i... |

don't know how i'm going to explain you all exactly why i feel... english isn't my first language... some minutes ago, talking to a friend, we were discussing the VMB's awards results (VMB = Brazilian version of MTV's VMA awards), which they stated some commercial bands as winners at diverse categor... |

We probably have even more countries but some people didn't list their own. If your country isn't listed there, tell us! We're very interested. We have people from almost every continent. Except for South America. Well, I'm from Brazil. I've already seen some other people on WP saying they're from ... |

I don't know how to deal with it. :( People like that tend to harass me, both now and when I was at school - my own uncle is an example of that; he himself is a pathetic person. I, for example, practice muay thai and have classmates like that - but they are friendly to me ( out of pity. . . I don't... |

I'm straight but I don't feel manly. I don't feel comfortable around "alpha male" types - even if I do get along. I don't think other people see me as manly so I often feel pretty ridiculous for just being around. At heart I feel pretty much genderless and weird. :( I've had people call me gay, gos... |

I find the thread title amusing. Maybe I'm just perverted. so you wouldn't mind at carrying the cross in my place... as i perhaps i would mind yours. What are you talking about? I was talking about "Feel Myself as a man" being interpeted as you touching your manly parts I have a habit of being quic... |

i'd just want the things would be normal and have the chance to explore and feel me as a man. i used to be claimed as a "fa***t boy" (beyond all that we aspies know as being "odd" and sort of those) since i was a child and i just can't understand. for example, some days ago i was walking on a corner... |

Hyperlexia is so much more common among those on the autism spectrum that it is starting to be thought of as primarily an autistic co-morbidity (or superpower, depending on which researcher you're reading). I don't know a very large number of aspies or HFAs, but half of those that I do know taught ... |

Hyperlexia is not necessarily a feature of AS, but from what I've read it is common with us. I first talked at almost 1 year old, then stopped for a while (after having tonsilitis) and began again at 14 months. I began learning my letters at 18 months, and was reading quite fluently before I was 3.... |

I would like to know, on your opinions or a specialist's one, an opinion about these facts. Is an aspie necessarily one hyperlexical? In my example, I started to talk too late, around 3 years and a half old, and i learnt to read by myself at this age too. I'm asking this because I found some example... |

This is relevant to my interests! The only word I can understand is "Cacophonia" (Or however you spell in Portuguese) so please explain. Yeah. Means "cacophony"! I used to play and write songs through these times such a cacophonic thing attempting to be eufonic or fluent in its personality. Claustr... |
