I’m not sensitive to criticism but I do get annoyed by praise, especially when it is unwarranted. I hate praise too. I just want to say: who asked you? Often if someone praises me I praise myself even more than the praise I received in order to make the other person uncomfortable. That usually prev...

Good stuff. Micro-fossils are an interesting suggestion. I am worried about handling strong acids though. If I recall correctly it takes very strong acids to dissolve the surrounding material.

No, I don't like sports. But, by father (also an Aspie) is obsessed with soccer and watches even old games for hours. Drives my mom nuts.

I think if I had enough money for life, criticism would not matter to me much. In places that do not contribute to my fiances I don't care nearly as much about criticism as places that do (which can be extreme). I tend to get bored/slightly annoyed when people that have nothing I want criticize me.

Sort of a nightmare, after the Coronavirus became news. I was driving by a retirement home and see a rustic coffin rested against the wall vertically. For some reason I decided to stop by. An old lady had died. The ceremony was very fancy but the coffin looked like something someone had put together...

Are any of you into fossils? I have collected a nice set of fossils, but I have bought them all. I have not found any myself. Paleontology is one of my interests and am thinking of going fossil hunting once this Corona thing is over. Digging up things that lived long ago is so fascinating to me. And...

No. I do not think about math often despite studying mainly mathematical subjects in uni. Still trying to forget what little I remember of linear algebra and partial differential equations

God can't be cruel. In order to be cruel God would need to exist but since no gods exist they can't possibly have traits or behaviours. I strongly disagree. Fictious characters definitely have traits and behaviours. How else could you describe them? Why would anyone be interested or read about them...

Autism is a disability (in social interactions among other things). NTs derive great amounts of joy from social interactions but not us. I don't see how having important sources of joy denied is beneficial. Some may say that since we care far less for social interactions we can spend our time on mo...

Unfortunately, there is no possible way to know that dead historical figures like Heidegger were truly autistic. All we have is one writer’s opinion on an obscure website. This! I studied a degree in philosophy and could think some philosophers might be. Maybe Heidegger, maybe others, but we really...

Some ways social interaction could become more enjoyable for me are: 1. Accept that I am a quirky, awkward person - don't expect perfection! (Although if I do or say anything that makes anyone uncomfortable, tell me so I can change it.) I have a sense of humor about myself too - no need to walk on ...
