I do not believe in censorship. I believe some things should not be seen by children, but I find the V-Chip to be a ridiculous invention. Kids will find out ways to disable it... and besides, parents are either too overprotective of what their kids see, or they just don't give a damn; and the maturi...

I am very good at remembering how voices sound, right down to how they said something. And if I'm a fan of a voice actor, I can typically recognize their voices even if it's changed... but not if it's changed drastically from how I'm used to hearing it. For example, my favorite voice actor is Jim Cu...

I do have a constant inner-monologue whenever I am conscious of myself (when nothing else has taken my attention) but these are not my thoughts. Just as I can find myself unable to explain my thoughts I have the same problem in my mind and so my inner monologue gets stuck and sometimes I will keep ...

I've been to day camps and one sleepaway camp over the years. I got bullied in the day camps, and usually became friends with the counselors instead of the other campers. Sleepaway camp wasn't comfortable for me because I was very homesick and missed my old, familiar environment... but those are jus...

phone calls are an exercise in frustration. :P

Oh my gosh, I used to be terrified of the phone when I was a little girl. I refused to so much as dial until my dad (who I lived with at the time) forced me to call and talk with my mother repeatedly.

I love ducks! If it quacks, I love it. I especially like mallards; the males have those cute green heads with the white ring around the neck and the brown bodies... that's just so pleasing to the eye, at least for me. I have a small collection of duckie toys around my room, and some of them quack or...

I feel very repressed in that sense. I have yet to find anybody who'd be willing to sit down and listen to everything I have to say AND respond to it. Whenever I think I have a listener, they grow bored or they run away. :(

i don't know how that can be helped really. the only thing to do is remind her of why you speak so loudly. The problem is, she doesn't believe me when I tell her how little control I have. If someone else yells at her, I get pissed and tell (not yell, TELL) her, "Nobody should yell at you, no one!"...

I guess the strangest thing that my diagnosis explained is my attachment to objects instead of people. I have so many toys and trinkets and books, and I'm always getting more stuff... I'm a total packrat, and I usually can't bring myself to give up anything of mine because of the emotional significa...

I'm a very visual thinker; images always come into my head when I hear or read a figure of speech that's new to me... and sometimes ones I already know that are just plain funny to visualize (i.e., raining cats and dogs). Most of the time, however, I do get what people are saying as far as sarcasm a...

I've had the same thing happen to me too many times... now I hardly speak (or just don't speak) to any of my gateway friends-- all three of them. I have a best friend whom I've known since kindergarten, but I hardly speak to her anymore... and I have no other friends. I feel very pathetic.

I have a lot of problems controlling how loud my voice is, mainly because I'm not always aware of how loud I'm getting, even when I'm just talking. When I get angry, this problem becomes a lot more apparent. Not even my own mother believes me when I tell her that I don't yell on purpose. Also, when ...

Way to go standing up for yourself, man. I probably would have done the same thing to one of those guys.

As to having such a crappy morning... look on the bright side, at least you didn't vomit. That really would have sucked.

For a period of about 5 years or so, I wrote Warner Brothers fan-fiction, specifically relating to the Spielberg cartoons ("Animaniacs!", "Pinky And The Brain", and so forth). I and a contingent of other writers engaged in chain-link fan-fiction. [...] We just wrote stories with obscure pop-culture...

Hi, I'm Melissa, and I'm 19 (I'll be 20 this coming June). I'm in my second year of college with no specific major. I'm obsessed with cartoons and their every aspect, from the art styles, to the voice acting. I love to draw cartoons, too, and I hope to improve my skills. I have even thought of doing...
