Aw, you're in brissy, Attwood country. I'm sure a few neurodiverse peeps there 8) Have you identified as neurodiverse or autistic or ______ on online dating profiles or face to face with groups of friends /dates? I guess I'm somewhat afraid to be taken advantage of hmm... Especially online. People ...

I put sometimes, but reality is I don't get out much or meet people often. I'm not the most social person on the planet, that's for sure  I don't actively seek out neurodiverse people, but I seem to attract them. I think it's obvious I'm not neurotypical, so I figure these people see me as som...

Well, I am notoriously bad at meeting people, I become paranoid about coming across wrong or otherwise be an inconvenience, so "No, but I would like to". Aw, you're in brissy, Attwood country. I'm sure a few neurodiverse peeps there 8) Have you identified as neurodiverse or autistic or __...

I guess I have some methods whether it's them being somewhat moral, speech therapy as a kid, diverse eye contact / weird family (or should I say unique). I'm starting to own the ADHD more at the moment before I used to be more Autism/Aspie proud, recently rediagnosed ADHD as an adult. Interesting to...

I met a handful of neurodiverse people. Dated a few. It went pretty well. Not many talk about it but with some you can just tell. :)

Yah,

How do you tell the difference between an autistic versus just a shy socially awkward geek?

I see this is an old thread, but I find it quite relevant to me anyway. I also remember being turned on by things from a pretty young age, and until nowadays, I found my sex drive to be quite intense. Some bad habits came out of that, which unfortunately led to me devaluing the more essential build...

Someone who wants to do something new every day and is highly explorative, but at the same time knows how to get deeply involved with something else. Someone who doesn't lie to themselves about the way reality and society are, someone who tries to improve their situation using reality rather than l...

I chose the top two lines :P I guess this pretty personal stuff. Though I guess when I was younger like 16 or so I wanted kids. My older half sister having children at the time. I don't feel the need to have kids at the moment, maybe because I know it's not so reachable. When I was younger perhaps I...

I think many people I know may have ADHD or other differences though they are not so open about it in discussions at the pub. Hmm.. Maybe I need to open them up somehow.

You assume that we're having any job or any income. That's a false assumption for a lot of us here. Yes, cutting down expenses is good, but it doesn't help me enough when I have /no/ incoming money. You got a low-end job, you can do your low end job, that's farther than many of us have gotten. Well...

I don't know how many people here are married. So they may be dealing with just 1 crappy income instead of 2. As for me I'm not to excited about the idea of being a landlord. My parents tried that and I wound up helping them clean the place after it was trashed by their renters. a lot you can do wi...
